Alberto is hard working and determined. His crew took care of matters quickly, they were knowledgeable, clean and fast. Alberto gives good suggestions and most importantly listens to his clients. Apex construction is a great company and do an excellent job and I would recommend Alerto and Apex construction without hesitation."

"We hired Shay to correctly vault our home’s ceilings after they were unsafely vaulted years earlier by a licensed general contractor. Shay, their construction manager, gave us a typed, 17 page contract on the SAME DAY that he came to give us an estimate (!) The contract was highly specific, with detailed scope of work, and contained many protections for the homeowner, several which we referred to during the project. Their bid wasn’t the lowest, nor was it the highest — two came in at double and triple Shay’s estimate, one at 30% less. We were inspired by Shay’s rapidly produced and detailed contract — along with the excellent references that they gave us — to go with them, and we’re very glad that we did. They started a month AHEAD of schedule, and had reasonable progress payments as the project continued. Every step of the way their work was on time and professional, and their change orders were always necessary and reasonable. They followed the architectural and structural plans in great detail, worked well with our structural engineer, and in several instances saved us from having to rip out parts of our floor and a kitchen window through their effective negotiations with the planning office. All building inspections were passed with no difficulties, and the site was cleaned up immaculately upon completion of the project."

They took our tiny 900 square foot house and reconfigured the walls on the interior and added 250 square feet with a new roof and new exterior. They changed our cramped space into a HOME! It was as if the flow of the house had changed from awkward cramped to what it was always meant to be. They best part was the use of space. We got to keep our big backyard while still feeling like we had loads new room. The whole process was actually pretty fast. We started our design with Annamaria and before we knew it we had plans and permits. I really appreciated having my own input and ideas taken into consideration by Annamarie. She understood my taste and helped me make decisions when I felt overwhelmed by the choices. I appreciated all the vendors and contacts she had for everything from tile, to windows, doors, etc. I never felt pressured to go out of my budget. Sergiu and the crew are great. They are approachable, professional, polite, hardworking, timely, and friendly. It was really great having most of the work done by the Best Construction crew. I had the same crew working on the project the entire time except for the occasional sub contractors that came though but they were managed well by Sergiu. Everyone I talk to is blown away at the integrity and timely fashion that this design and build firm had towards this project. I was warned things would go wrong but I have to say things went very smoothly and if we do it again it will be with Best Construction."
