We already had another electrician come by who diagnosed the problem as a lost neutral and "recommended" that we hunt down it down ourselves as it would take time and the charges could stack up. Sounded reasonable. We decided to get a second opinion and stumbled on John on Nextdoor. We spoke in the morning and he called back and said he could come by at 3pm. In less than 30 minutes, he diagnosed the problem (lost neutral) AND found a workaround. We had power back, John installed a GFCI in the garage, chatted with my wife and kid and charged me less than the first electrician. He not only did a great job, his fees were reasonable and cheaper than the first guy who didn't fix anything. He even accommodated our request to wear booties inside the house. Just a great guy to work with. John was right, I called the wrong guy the first time. Would definitely call John again next time we need an electrician. Plus my kid loves his Irish accent."
