We recently purchased a new home in Berkeley and wanted to do some remodeling before moving in. After two not-so-great remodel experiences in the past, we were a bit nervous. However, working with A2Z was an absolute dream. Dror Postiner was our project manager and he was just amazing to work with. He was extremely mindful of the timelines and went above and beyond to get us everything we wanted in the home. His entire crew was very reliable and very nice to work with. We did a kitchen remodel and multiple smaller projects around the house. Some of the design elements were a bit ticky but Dror creatively navigated them and had some great suggestions. We were quite satisfied with the quality of the work and materials. We did have to make some changes and thankfully they were able to accommodate them in a reasonable fashion. Meir handled it all, from securing city permits to guiding design choices to running interference with suppliers, workmen and condo management. Meir team of craftsmen were equally respectful and diligent. Meir always returns calls promptly and offers straightforward solutions to the inevitable challenges that arise. My husband and I recently had the pleasure of working with Dror Postiner from A2Z Remodeling for a major home renovation project in our North Oakland home. We were looking to add a master suite, master bathroom, and walk-in closet to a 2 bedroom, 1 bath Spanish-style bungalow, as well as convert a 2-car garage into an additional dwelling unit with a kitchenette and bathroom. A2Z was spectacular for our kitchen remodel. Project Manager Dror Postiner was accessible, responsive, and courteous at all times. For example, we had a small electrical problem in the evening and he sent someone out right away. (The problem turned out to be our fault, not A2Z's.) The crew, led by foreman Eduardo, was courteous and highly skilled. Dror is careful about selecting excellent subcontractors. The flooring, electrical, and countertop teams were terrific also. Everyone worked with great efficiency, and the kitchen was finished on time, despite a few change orders that added elements we had not planned on originally. We would recommend A2Z without reservation.

Project Manager Eran Zitron and crew were very professional, efficient and responsive. They were always reliable, polite and respectful to our needs and concerns. There were some supply chain issues that caused some delay but if all components were available, they would have been done in very little time, certainly on-schedule. I did have to resend invoices to Eran due to component delivery delays but this was a minor issue. Overall quality was excellent and we are thrilled with the results.

When we met Meir Barr, our future project manager from A2Z remodeling we were very impressed with his knowledge, friendliness and design ideas, so much so that we decided to combine a bathroom remodel with a kitchen remodel. The crew of three were friendly, hardworking, reliable and left the area clean at the end of the day. The quality of their work was excellent and they worked in a timely manner. We felt completely safe leaving them alone in the house. Meir took really good care of us, keeping in constant communication with us around the progress of the project. Issues arose but we worked through them seamlessly. We are totally in love with our new kitchen and bathroom! All in all a first class job from start to finish.

Dor and his team were incredible from the start. They walked through many consultations with my family and made clear a variety of options that could happen based on city code, layout of the house and functional needs of my family. During COVID, my parents decided to complete a remodel that initially started with removing a wall for extra space in the kitchen. That then turned into rewiring and insulating part of the house, updating electrical panels, moving and redesigning bathrooms and laundry rooms. Dor and his team were the best and incredibly professional. They are hard working and respect your time. They are efficient and will literally do anything that you want, but will also give reasons why your idea may or may not be successful. The foreman were great and always on time. My family was extremely happy with the final result and the home looks beautiful. I would recommend A2Z to anyone around.

We remodeled our hallway bathroom and used A2Z Remodeling based on their stellar reviews. Our project manager (Dror Postiner) had excellent customer service from beginning to end, and took the time to understand our vision of the bathroom remodel. The great thing about Dror and his company, is that they actually took the time to listen to our needs and executed according to our request and expectations. Dror and his crew showed up everyday consistently to get the project done and we didn't have the stress or worry that they would be gone for a long period of time. Additionally, if we had any questions or concerns after business hours, Dror always made himself available via phone or text message. As for the progress and timeliness of the work performed, A2Z performed and executed in the initial agreed upon timelines, and we did not have any significant delays for this project. We provided the design ideas to Dror and he helped to provide the appropriate vendors to ensure our vision was delivered. The overall quality of the bathroom remodel was excellent, and we are very happy with how the bathroom turned out. Dror and his team conducted several walk throughs during each milestone and at the end of the project ensured that anything we wanted to change or fixed was fixed and delivered with satisfaction. We had a remodel project after some water damage that we'd been doing with another firm and it was a nightmare - totally uncoordinated, way over schedule, terrible communication. Eventually abandoned the contractor and reached out to A2Z. Meir Bar was our project manager and he assured me he could complete the work in 2-3 weeks, despite it being the holidays. That's exactly what happened. The communication was outstanding, the crew was great to have around, and they finished the job as outlined and on time. I especially appreciated them being able to complete a few things that we hadn't originally scoped within the same timeline. We just finished our kitchen remodel with A2Z Remodeling, Dror Postiner and Or Hameiri were our project managers and I was very impressed with their knowledge, professionalism and work ethic. The crew was dedicated as promised and worked ver hard throughout the process. Or was very responsive and was very impressed with how quick he responded to any questions and concerns I had through the project (Project ran extremely smooth). We also upgraded the main panel and apparently there are specific codes when it come to kitchen remodel. Dror offered to add a sub panel in the garage but since I would like to have a Tesla car charger in the future he told me I should already upgrade the main and and then won't need to do the extra sub panel. I highly recommend A2Z remodeling. They are one stop as their name and you won't regret it! I know I will use them for the future projects and will recommend to friends and family.

We signed up with A2Z Remodeling for a major renovation which includes 2 bathrooms, kitchen with removal of load bearing wall, flooring, interior paint and a new construction fireplace (which A2Z recommended to work with Nova and we were very happy with Erik customer service). I'd say that Dror, the owner and later the Project Manager, quickly talked me into hiring his company for the project despite the rather "pricey" quote. He impressed me with his knowledge and promised a work with no charge time and/or change orders (unless something he canâ t see after demolition as he mentioned he is not a magician) and assured me that the team is dedicated and that they have very high standards and provide high quality of workmanship. He seemed to quickly understand what Iâ m looking for and was able to provide a detailed estimate at my house (very surprising while It took other companies about a week and they werenâ t half as detailed as Dror) and even gave me a 3% discount because we reached an agreement on the first appointment. We had initial problems with starting the project because of plan checker review (because we did structural work and removed a load bearing wall), which was not the company's fault at all. We waited patiently for the permit to arrives and as Dror promised once itâ s arrived they started the job right away (we got the permit on Tuesday and the crew started next Monday morning). Although we did most of the shopping on our own (my wife have strong opinion on the design she wanted) he guided us with what materials to look that will comply with CA regulations and provided us with accurate measurements and quantities. Dror referred us to show rooms he work with that we could get discounts (he offered to come but there was no reason for that) and even opened an about in a specialty store that he didnâ t had an account with in order to save us an additional 15% on a really nice and expensive mosaic backsplash my wife wanted for the kitchen. I highly recommend Dror and his company as they are very efficient and organized. He was always on time and showed up whenever he says he would, he constantly kept us updated with whatever is going on and gave us an update every few days. We really enjoyed working with Oscar the foreman and the crew (especially Pedro). The results are excellent and the professionalism throughout was top notch. The guys were always clean, polite, friendly and very hardworking. Sergio the tile guy is very talented as well and the tile work looks remarkable, thank you Sergio! I trust their professionalism, integrity, and quality of work. Their were a couple of small bumps here and there (which I expected with an approximately time of 3 month renovation) but Dror was on top of everything and made sure to take care of them right away and to our satisfaction. I feel very comfortable posting that review and will recommend to friends and family, thank you A2Z for making our dream come true!

We chose A2Z Remodeling over 4 other contractors we interviewed with to remodel our 2 bathrooms and we couldn't be happier. After meeting with Meir Bar and Dror Postiner himself we discussed a reasonable cost estimate for the work (they were not the cheapest but they showed a lot of knowledge and pointed things that no one else has mentioned) that needed to be done. Meir took us out shopping in a tile and plumbing fixture store while Dror worked on pulling our permit with his permit expediter. Throughout the entire process the staff from their front office to their onsite foreman Jose were always very responsive and helpful. This our second remodel (first one was a kitchen remodel in previous condo we used to live in) and we were very impressed with the level of communication, organisation, laborers were very knowledgeable about creating the bathroom we wanted to achieve while keeping up to date with building codes and city permits. We had several meetings with Meir throughout the project confirming location of plumbing, layout of tile etc. The guys gave us suggestions when we were clueless, and always advised us properly when choosing fixtures and other materials for the build. The crew, was clean, kept Covid protection and it was nice to see the same faces over and over again since the moment that we started until the end. Dror promised to be on time and budget and they were (it was helpful since once we set up a budget we wanted to make sure there are no surprises). We love the results and our bathrooms even nicer than we imagined! Thanks again A2Z Remodeling, we will for sure use you again for future projects to come!

We hired A2Z and worked directly with Dror Postiner from start to finish. From the very first meeting to the last walk thru they were honest and focused on our providing the best customer service. Their crew was respectful, efficient and clean. They took great care with our project and followed all of the required COVID protocols. We had our own plan on the design so we didn't rely on their own designer as much, but they guided us on what would work and what wouldn't for the budget goals we had. They were excellent and I highly recommend meeting with them as they stood out among the 6 quotes we pulled for this project.

Dor (the project manager) from A2Z was friendly and great at answering all our questions. They priced out the project upfront and there was a clear timeline for payments. Everything was very transparent. He gave great suggestions towards the design on what would be successful. His crew were professional and took great care to keep the rest of our home protected from debris and damage. They worked diligently to finish the project within the proposed timeframe. We would definitely hire them again and highly recommend their services.

A2Z just finished remodeling our master bathroom, and we are thrilled with both the process and the results. Our project manager, Dor, was very helpful and knowledgeable in assessing the project and figuring out how to accomplish our goals and make it look great, and his estimate was a real estimate--A2Z doesn't play that game where they estimate low to get you to sign, then jack up the price with a bunch of change orders. And the on-site team was fantastic! This was our first remodel project ever, and I was worried about having strangers in the house. Goyo and Jose were so friendly and kind that it never felt awkward. They did outstanding work, and they were so helpful in asking good questions and making sure we understood everything that was going on. They took great care in making sure the quality of both the materials and the work were top-notch--and they even finished ahead of schedule. A bathroom remodel is a big project, and we're very happy we went with A2Z to do it.

A2Z updated earlier earthquake retrofit per instructions from a civil engineer I had previously hired to bring the earlier retrofit work up to meet current code requirements. The company owner For responded promptly, the work was scheduled to meet my time line, the work was completed in six consecutive days. The crew cleaned up daily so that I could park my car in the garage which they used as a staging and work area.

We just finished the process of building a rental unit in our backyard. A2Z did a great job, after we confirmed all the plans that they suggested we pretty much let them deal with the city, the different stores, and the workers. The process was pretty smooth, the price stayed the same as we initially agreed. They finished on time and the inconvenience was minimal. The workers respected our property, and because we are cautious about Covid we really appreciated that. Dror, the owner of the company was attentive to our needs and very responsive. We were very satisfied with his service. The thing we liked the most about him is that we felt that he is transparent about the scope and the price, we did not get this feeling from the other contractors we met, A lot of other people did not check our electrical system, and some more construction stuff. We really felt that he is looking to do the best job possible, and that is what he really did. Highly recommend this guy, great job, Pricing was fair.

I looked for a remodeling company that would help me with my kitchen remodeling and refinishing the flooring in my house in San Jose. I called A2Z; Dror & Dor came fairly quickly to give me an estimate. They were very knowledgeable and had a lot of great design ideas which I hadnâ t received from other contractors. They took their time with me and explained the different codes and regulations that the city requires and told me that they are a no change order and no change time company, which was very important for me. Their prices were fair, not the least and not the most expensive. After interviewing 4 companies, I chose A2Z. I am super happy with my decision. The end result is amazing. Dror was assigned to be my dedicated project manager, and I received a dedicated crew as Dror promised. Communication throughout the entire process was better than I could ever have expected. Jose the Forman and the crew were very respectful and clean. When any small issue came up, Dror immediately took care of it and had great solutions, sharing with me his ideas of how they would take care of them, which I appreciated very much. Overall my new kitchen and floor look amazing. The team made the process very easy. I will definitely recommend them and will use them for my next project!

We were looking for a contractor to remodel 2 bathrooms and install cabinets and a sink in our laundry room. A2Z Remodeling was the quickest to respond to our request and was willing to meet with us the next day, while others wanted us to wait 3+ weeks. Dror Postiner met with us and presented a reasonable offer to start the project right away. A2Z came through and completed the project basically on schedule and budget, with only a few additional charges (some due to expected repairs). Throughout the project Dror was easy to contact, and always responded to our questions and requests quickly. His crew, especially Byron and Omar, were easy to work with and very respectful of our house. As we were living in the house during the project, they also took precautions to minimize risks from the coronavirus, including wearing masks at all times. Overall we are pleased with our new bathrooms and laundry room, and would certainly consider A2Z for another project. We definitely recommend them. Thanks Dror and crew!

t is not often that I take the time to write reviews but with our outstanding experience with our recent project with A2Z Remodeling, it was called for. Dror Postiner, our project manager, was extremely attentive to any questions or concerns we had throughout the entire project. We stayed connected through text, phone and in person communication. It was reassuring that we could get a hold of him and he would respond without delay. He was able to transfer our â conceptâ for an update to our family room into exactly what we had in mind. This included removing the existing fireplace façade, wood burning stove and worn floor and replacing with a gas fireplace insert, modern fireplace surround and new flooring. in addition, we had our outdated kitchen countertop and backsplash replaced making a transformational difference in the appearance of the room. Dror personally guided us through the process of selecting porcelain slabs for the countertop and fireplace surround as well as tile for the backsplash. We obtained high quality material within our budget. The team professionally and efficiently completed the project without creating undue disruptions that allowed us to stay in our home while the work was underway. The job site was kept clean and made safe at the end of everyday which was very important to us as we have an 18-month grandson that likes to explore! The crew let us know when they would be coming and the days they would not be. They took great care to not damage our kitchen cabinets, appliances and floor that would not be replaced. It was like they treated our home as if it was theirs. The job was completed in less that 4 weeks (about 17 days on site) which was within the estimate that Dror provided. He provided a detailed scope of work describing what A2Z was responsible for and what we needed to account for, e.g., hard surfaces, finish paint, family room flooring, kitchen sink and faucet. The agreement included the overall cost broken down by progress payments. There were no hidden cost surprises with the original scope of work. Overall, we highly recommend A2Z Remodeling. From planning to implementation and completion we are extremely satisfied with the quality of work, cost and most importantly the finished product. It has increased the appearance and functionality of the interior design enormously.

I want to say big thank you to Dor & Dror from A2Z Remodeling. My parents live in an old house that they bought years ago and never renovated it. Finally they decided to renovate the house specially the kitchen, 2 bathrooms and floors. They received several estimates and decided to go with A2Z Remodeling, all because of Dor and Dror were very communicative and very sensitive to what my parents wanted, dream wise and money wise. Me and my sister came to visit our parents after the construction has been done and we were amazed how beautiful their house look like right now. I had great experience with A2Z Remodeling building an ADU It took me a long time to get all the approvals needed and plans for this ADU. I met with several contractors but Dor & Dror were kind and communicated, they were very thoughtful for my needs and desires. They werenâ t the cheapest but I had a bad previous experience in home renovation and a lot of change orders, with them there was no need for any additional charges because the price they gave was the exact amount needed to build this ADU. They showed me 100% professionalism. It was a Pleasure working with them and their team. I will definitely recommend them to my friends and family they are the best.
