Patrick wrote a complete proposal with details. He had to order a garbage disposal but promised next day service, I was thrilled. They came promptly the next morning. He did an absolutely amazing job on the kitchen sink/disposal, it looks SO great and works better than it ever has (should have been installed originally, this is our 3rd one). He worked SO hard to find the earring, AND he fixed the closet door while under the sink, it's been broken for years! The new toilet seat, we did not need, he fixed the existing one perfectly!! "Huft Home Services replaced my regular HVAC company when the owners retired. Comfort Master had installed my system in 1995 so we had a 25-year personal relationship. Ed and Donna were still using hardcopy records. When I called Huft on May 12 and talked with Elizabeth, we were able to confirm and establish the status of my ongoing services. We discussed the 2 different areas of work needed, HVAC regular maintenance and an urgent plumbing service for a leaking irrigation valve system. We scheduled the irrigation repair quickly, but I was very disappointed to discover that the repair person was unable to do that work and found out that Huft actually did not work on irrigation. Fortunately I was able to find a provider who came out the next day and did exceptional work – I highly recommend Authentic Landscape/Salvador Gallardo for that work. However, rather than make a complaint, I figured I'd wait to see how the HVAC service went. That appointment was scheduled for a couple weeks later. Anthony was fantastic. He called to let me know he was running late from his previous job. Maybe it was just because I wasn't up on current services, but I am highly impressed that he was able to take many photos of my system and his work – and instantly email them and my invoice to me! He went over in great detail the status of the equipment and anticipation of potential repairs needed over time along with likely cost estimates. We also discussed possible replacements for when I decided I was ready for a new unit. I will certainly continue my maintenance with Huft, and not just because I'm prepaid for a couple more years of biannual services."
