"We're extremely happy with the concrete work by David Morris, it's just as we had envisioned.  It was definitely not an easy job for several reasons.  There is limited access to the back yard, so no large equipment could be used, requiring all excavation to be done by hand.  Making it even more labor intensive were huge tree roots from a 30-year-old tree we had removed recently.  Also, we've had drainage problems for some time due to clogged drains, most likely from tree roots.  David addressed the problem by grading the area and installing a new system of drains.

I was impressed when David pulled out his iPad and wrote up the contract in a few minutes, I was able to sign it on his pad. David explained he would come by the week before to re-walk the site and give us an update. Well to say this company goes to town is an understatement. At the end of the first day, what was going to take over a week changed to being done in a few days! Looking at the quality of the work and the speed it was accomplished, my perfectionist wife started doing her happy dance. David once again, walked the property pointing out what was accomplished i.e. grading the lot, laying base material, setting forms, etc. Plus, continued to answer our questions in his calm patient manor. On the day of the final pour, David brought in a small army of experienced concrete workers to handle the constant flow of concrete being delivered by multiple concrete trucks. There was David orchestrating this crew with aplomb. Days ahead of schedule, David and crew finished the project. He then walked us around pointing out all of the special things that distinguish his work from ordinary guys like myself. We were ecstatic. We are ecstatic.
