Jacques Landscaping

Job went well, Bob is very creative and did all of the work with a limited crew so he was very hands on. We lost a large oak during the storm and the tree company damaged the yard since it was wet, in getting the tree out. Decided to replace the lawn and redesign the space. Bob was the only bidder that actually looked at the sprinkler valve box after I described some of the problems we were having with the lawn. He wasn't the lowest or highest bidder either. He works afternoons into the early evening which takes some getting used to but he definitely gets the job done!

Jacques Landscaping was very prompt to come out to do a formal evaluation and estimate for our project. Bob had a lot of great ideas to make the kennel and dog turf super secure, so our dog could not dig his way out or damage the area. So far two weeks post project, the kennel is holding up well with no damage to dog or kennel! The only thing that might have been better is communication about when work would be done and consistency of workers to complete the job, but they got us in promptly, and we are grateful for that.

Bob was very friendly! He was prompt coming out for the estimate and throughout the project. We were heading out of town the week that we was doing the turf for our lawn and he made sure he got everything done before we left. His estimate was very descriptive and thorough and he even offered to do some rock work around our pool for a very reasonable amount.

It went wonderful and great. Very good job on time courteous hard-working, very knowledgeable but above and beyond and did a wonderful job. Definitely would call him again.

Listened to our design input and offered alternatives based upon deep knowledge of what plants would do the best in the locations. Attention to detail was great. Even with rain delays project was completed with minimal delays. Important to us for winning the bid was Jacques submitted an itemized bid that detailed costs for labor, materials, plants, sod, disposal etc. and the progress payment schedule. Other bids received would only provide a lump sum for the project and refused to provide further cost details. I would be e reference customer for Jacques Landscaping.

I spoke with Bob discussed what I wanted done he showed up the next Day, Bob completed what I needed done in a very professional and timely manner. I refer him to many of my friends.

Bob has 25 years of landscape experience and it shows. My project was a small job and Bob and his partner finished it in a few hours. I'm pleased with outcome and price paid.

Bob Jacques was amazing, a super personable and honest guy. I would recommend him to anyone! He came with a co-worker and they did a fantastic job. I had a multitude of things wrong with my front and backyard lawns. His co-worker Jose was in the front laying out a filler section grass. Bob was in the backyard adjusting the water flow of the sprinkler heads, and changing each one as needed, he did the same for the front yard. He also told me that fescue grass likes to grow tall and I’ll scalp it if I go too short. So he went out of his way to adjust my lawnmower higher so when I cut the grass it’s higher. He also told me to mix ammonium sulfate with a regular fertilizer half and half mixture with nitrate. He was a very knowledgeable guy, and super affordable. He’s an honest guy!
