"First of all, this guy is a certificated ARBORIST! He knows trees!  This was very important to me.  I didn't want "some guy with a chainsaw" to tell me the trees had to come down.
After looking over the trees and their location, he told me that the trees would continue their secondary growth and that growth would push up the pavers in the yard, and even if the pavers were reinstalled the secondary growth would push them up again over time.  He gave me some options to consider.
He is based out of central Orange County and because of distance, he declined to do work in Bellflower which was disappointing.

"We've used them for 5 years. They service all of Orange County in California. They come out every year in November. They show up exactly on time, very prompt. They do the job and they're gone in about 2 1/2 hours. They clean up and they do a great job. Perfect. They are very polite, and very professional. They are all properly licensed and they have everything they need and they jump on my tree and cut and they are done.

Signature Pest Control Established in 1999 and still going strong, Signature Pest Control is proud to serve home and business owners using the latest pest extermination methods. As a family-owned and -operated company, we're dedicated to warm, personalized customer care. We're willing to travel anywhere in:\n\n• San Bernardino County\n• Riverside County\n• Los Angeles County\n• Orange County\n\nYou can count on our friendly, trained, and licensed technicians for integrated pest management (IPM). This means that we take into account all relevant information about each pest, including its life cycle, habits, and food source, and tailor our work around that. \n\nPest control is never usually a one-time job, so we'll set up a service plan on a bimonthly or quarterly basis and come whenever it's not too inconvenient for you. Below is a sample of our services.\n\nTermite Control\nThere are two kinds of termites to watch out for: subterranean and drywood. Subterranean termites will burrow up from underground nests to feed on decayed wood, while drywood termites fly and nest in dry structures like furniture and siding. Let us perform an exterior and interior inspection; we'll look for shed wings, mud tubes, frass, and anything else that points to one or both of these termites.\n\nOur company can lay out an Exterra baiting system that will distract subterranean termites away from your property and slowly but surely kill off the colony. Every three months, we'll stop by to fill up the bait containers. As for drywood termites, we can eliminate them with an orange oil treatment. This is safer than the usual method, tent fumigation, and won't require you to vacate your home.\n\nAnt Control\nCome winter, these insects might enter your property for the warmth; from there, they'll eat any meat, sugar, or pet food that you've left lying around. Whether you find carpenter ants nesting in your siding or pharaoh ants in your medical facility, you'll find that vinegar and boric acid won't be enough to ward them off. Our team will trace the ants to their nest and spray them with a special liquid insecticide.\n\nCockroach Extermination\nThese pests are notoriously fast breeders, trigger allergies and asthma, and carry all kinds of germs. When roach motels don't cut it, you can request a thorough fumigation service from us.\n\nBed Bug Extermination\nIf you're waking up with clusters of bites on your skin, you may have picked up bed bugs, perhaps while staying at a hotel or motel. These insects love to hide in snug areas like the mattress, box spring, and bed frame as well as closets and cracks in walls. Moving to another room will only make matters worse, so have us exterminate them using either fumigation or a whole room heat treatment.\n\nRodent Control\nRodents can infiltrate your home or business through holes and cracks, burrow into your kitchen area, and tear up insulation and cardboard in order to build their nests. We can lay traps and poisoned bait and perform rodent exclusion at the same time.\n\nBee and Wasp Removal\nBees and wasps aren't hard to distinguish: the first are fat and furry, while the second are thin and have clear divisions between the head, torso, and abdomen. Since both are beneficial to the environment, we'll perform a safe, humane removal. \n\nCall Today\nThere are many other pests we treat, including:\n\n• Centipedes and millipedes\n• Scorpions\n• Fleas and ticks\n• Pigeons\n• Pocket gophers\n\nWhatever you request, our results will be backed by a 100% satisfaction guarantee. If any pests bother you in between our scheduled treatments, we'll fix the problem at no charge. Now that you know about all of our benefits, call us today at Signature Pest Control! You'll receive a free inspection and estimate.

"I work with a lot of contractors. Carlos of CS Creations was really really good. First of all, he shows up every morning with his crew and there never was a bad vibe at all. His prices are the lowest in town. I would recommend him to anyone doing any type of work or water saving design landscape."

Arborists questions, answered by experts

Although it’s possible, heavy machinery like a crane is necessary for removing an entire tree stump and all. This procedure is extremely costly, time-consuming, and usually unnecessary, as there are plenty of convenient and affordable stump removal options.

Your best bet, if you want to be sure to remove a tree and its stump efficiently, is to speak with a professional. They’ll be able to walk you through the entire process.

The cost of professional tree trimming averages $460, with a typical range between $200 and $760. However, prices can be as low as $75 or as high as $1,800 depending on several factors. The size and type of the tree are major cost drivers; for example, trimming Crepe Myrtle trees costs an average of $80 to $400, while trimming giant pine trees can range from $200 to $1,800. Other factors that influence the price include the time of year, as services are often more costly in the spring. The tree's accessibility and your location also play a role, as a remote or hard-to-reach tree may increase the cost. Some professionals may offer a discount if you have multiple trees to trim.

As a general rule, the protected area should be about 1½ times as wide as the canopy of the tree’s leaves. This digging measurement can vary by tree species and the age of the tree. Of course, that can be a lot of fencing for larger trees, which is why our first step is about making difficult decisions on which trees to save.

Peach trees grow to be about 25 feet, so keep this in mind for pruning as well. If you plan to DIY, you’ll need to be comfortable working on a ladder. Without pruning, peach tree branches can sprawl nearly as wide as the tree grows tall, so make sure to plan pruning sessions at least once per year in the spring for controlled growth. And if you’re working on a ladder, be sure to follow all safety precautions, especially if you’ll be dealing with falling branches.

Trees that flower in the spring—like dogwood, cherry, magnolia, and pear—should not be pruned during the winter. These spring-flowering plants grow buds on old growth, so you’ll actually remove what would’ve been gorgeous flowering foliage. Instead, wait to prune until right after they bloom, when the flowers fade.
