"I called D&S Termite and Pest Control two times to rid my house of rats, once in Sept, 2011 and and once in  Nov, 2013.  The first service in Sept, 2011 went went well.  The Field Representative searched the house and yard for evidence of rats, found evidence in the attic, and placed traps there.  He came back in a week or so, removed a dead rat, and checked back each week for a month.  I paid $200 for this service.  The second time, the Field Representative did not do an extensive search (perhaps because he had done one two years before).  He did not check the attic because I had found evidence of the rats on the first floor--in retrospect, I think a search of the attic was warranted.  He placed four traps in the house.  I found a dead rat in the kitchen and disposed of it myself.  This time (Nov. 2013) I signed a contract: D&S placed three rat traps on my property outside and I have been paying $35 to have them checked once each month for a year.  Apparently, D&S will also check the house if there was evidence of rats within.   This has ended up costing $420 and I have received very little in return.  I do not feel that the house was searched well enough initially for evidence of rats.  I could have set the traps myself, and, indeed, I, not D&S, ended up removing the dead rat.  I would probably not hire D&S again.

"Trap snapped 2 hours after he left. Unfortunately it didn’t kill instantly and I had to finish the job as both my husband and exterminator not present. Had to put poor critter out of its misery. We are city folks living in country for first time and have a lot to learn. Yet very efficient company that uses traps and chemistry nontoxic to environment and my animals. "First, we decided to have Hafa Adai perform pest control services because they answered our request in a timely manner and had a very competitive price. Second, they had excellent reviews. When Vincent contacted us, he provided the information we needed, understood what our issues were, and was very timly in delivering the service. Once here, he surveyed the situation where we had ants inside our house, mostly in the kitchen and bathrooms. He determined that he needed to treat the outside first. In doing so, he found five (5) ant nests/collonies around our perimeter and treated those and the entire outside. He used ant traps on the inside. "Excellent. Painless. We saw dropping from our wood framed sliding glass door, so we thought it had to be termites. The last time we had termites, we tented and it was awful. We were delighted that this company advertised with KFI radio or else we wouldn't have known about them. The two licensed inspectors were very thorough. They explained how each of their treatments worked. As they found termites, they showed us the droppings. When the technicians arrived (on time) to do the work a few days later, we were pleasantly surprised how considerate they were. They were efficient, knowledgable, and cleaned up after themselves. They even brought their own vacuum cleaner. We would use them again. So nice that we didn't have to move out for a few days and are confident our problem has been taken care of."
