"Man, it's so expensive for anything you have to do to your house. Sticker shock is crazy but once you get over the fact that no matter who you hire, it's going to cost more than you expected then you can find the best team for the job. I chose deck because they simply specialize in decks. It wasn't cheap but they weren't crazy expensive like some of the other quotes I got. I had one quote $40k to replace a few boards and paint the entire deck and stairs. Another company wanted $20k, another company told me to knock it down. WHAT? Anyway I went with Ideck for $4500. "Wonderful company and easy-going people to work with. We hired INA Kitchens to demolish the existing kitchen, remove 2 walls and have a large open space of the kitchen, including redesign it and build it completely. The work that they did was on a daily basis and each day our supervisor came over either at the end of the day or early in the morning and to personally check the progress of the work. The entire remodeling took more than 3 months (due to COVID) and it included all the paperwork and permits. We must mention that no hidden charges were added even though some changes were done during that work. We strongly recommend them and we already refereed them to some of our friends."
