Anytime House Painting

We hired John and Anytime Painting to paint our exterior garage, doors, as well as concrete steps and front porch. He was great at first, and we selected his crew over other quotes. However, after just a few months, the paint on our front porch and steps is pealing off in patches. We tried contacting him multiple times via direct text as well as through Angi to repair the porch and stairs, and we have not even gotten a response yet after a month of trying. That is not to mention that his crew left at the end of the job with items obviously unfinished, like the trim on an area of the the garage that had been primed but not painted at all in one spot, the lighting fixture they had removed was not put back onto the house, and they had to come back a week later to complete the obvious items. IT seems likely that they only applied 1 coat of paint to the porch and front steps, which was not obvious at the time, but other steps painted with the same paint are fine, so it is the only explanation. Now we are going to have to have the front porch and steps repainted again, after paying him to do the job. I am not typically one to leave negative reviews, and was hoping to resolve this directly, but since he is not responding to us, we don't have a choice, as I would definitely not recommend working with a company that does not complete or stand by their work and then ghosts.

Painted very well. Fixed a couple of very small defects found at the end of job inspection - right away, without any issues. A few months later, still no concerns about the paint job.

The results of the work were extremely satisfactory. John Park was very attentive to all my requests. His workers were respectful and cleaned up well after the job was done. The house looks beautiful and John threw in a few extras that I hadn't contracted for. I would definitely work with them again.

Picking a contractor can be stressful. Referrals, online research, getting estimates. And there's no way to know for sure if you've made the right choice until the job starts, and by then you've likely signed the contract and put down your hard-earned deposit money. I had several companies out for an exterior painting estimate, and ultimately settled on Anytime House Painting. The owner, John, provided a low-key, thoughtful explanation of what was needed, what it would cost, and what I could expect if I went with them. He offered a very reasonable price with no high pressure sales pitch. I had read the online reviews, which were all good, but there are a lot of companies out there with good reviews. Ultimately, what made the difference was that John mentioned they were a family-run business. It wasn't part of the sales pitch, it just came up in response to my questions. I guess anyone could say that (though none of the other estimators did), and it may or may not be important to the quality of the work, but in this case, I think it made a difference. When they started the job, it was John's father who showed up to supervise the crew, and he was there every day until the job was completed. The house had not been painted for awhile, which meant there was extensive prep work. While that was being done, John came back more than once with sample colors until I got just the right combination, because the really do look different once they're actually on the house. The crew was on time every day, went about their business without disturbing me (I work from home), and performed above and beyond all expectations. I cannot recommend them more highly. The last time the house was painted, I did it myself. This time, I left it to the professionals. Anytime House Painting. It was a good decision.

I am finally leaving this review because I need to contact John to hire him for another job and I want him and everybody to know how great his company is work with. He is super pro! He came out right away. Gave me a fair estimate and told me exactly how we could get the work done with my limited budget. Then his team started and completed the job twice as fast as any of the other estimates while at the same time being totally detailed oriented and careful not to get paint on my fancy furniture or hardwood floors. Whenever we/they were confused about the paint or process and John was offsite, we called him and he dealt with it immediately. After it was done, I complained that the paint was too thin because I hung a painting and some paint came off the wall. He told me it was because it needed more time to dry because the weather was damp. Well he was right! Fast-forward two years later and I could not be more happier with the painting of my house and now I need to call him to paint my guest house!

The existing termite damage had to be taken care of before the actual paint work could start.  The damage was pointed out when the workers turned up the first time so the job had to be rescheduled.  This was promptly taken care of and the painting started again only five days later, three days after treatment.  The work was very professional and the workers polite.  I would definitely recommend this company to anyone who needs this work.

Jon and his crew did excellent work.  They were here before 8AM on all but the last day, including Saturday. The house needed extensive care, as it had not been painted since I moved in 14 years ago. I had had some repair work done on the house by other contractors  (carpentry and stucco) so it was mostly ready for paint prep work and painting when the  Anytime crew arrived. It took them 6 days, ending on 8/5/2014,, though the last day was only a half day as all they had left to do on that day was the deck floor and some minor touch-up. I chose the colors, and had a hard time deciding on the paint between Behr and Dunn-Edwards.  Jon recommended the latter. I paid separately for the paint but Jon ordered it and had it delivered (a contractor can get a MUCH better price than an individual can). The price shown here was for everything, including labor and paint. And this involved, in most areas, either primer and paint or two coats of paint. I chose colors very close to what was already on the house. 
The only issue was that the crew didn't speak much English.  Jon did, but was only here briefly each day. But that produced no serious problems--I e-mailed Jon a few times when he was not here and he took care of my concerns and recommendations. I'd use them again (and probably will).

John and crew were the best I have had. Very friendly, polite and punctual. Throughout the whole process they kept me updated and even went out of their way to fix little things I was unaware of - without charging anything extra. When any portion of work had been completed they would show me what they had done and made sure the work was satisfactory to me before they would move on to the next portion of the job.

Honesty and integrity are rare commodities these days - or so it seems, but, Anytime House Painting has all of the above in spades. Excellent job and frankly...excellent people. I will absolutely hire them again when I need any work done.

I can't say enough good things about his outfit. It is family owned with the son, John, in charge of dealing with the client. There were about five men on the job. Not all spoke perfect English but that didn't matter as John was around to answer my questions. Their work ethic is impeccable. They arrived every morning no later than 8am and worked until around 5pm. The job was finished in five days. We've had nothing but compliments after completion of the job. Expect to pay a little more. Anytime House Painting is well worth it as you will see! Feel good about paying for high quality paint because the job will lasts much longer. My 2¢ worth.
