Did a great job at a reasonable price

We hired Michael and his company, Northgate Development to repair an old deck in our backyard. It soon became obvious that the deck was not salvageable. After discussing it with Michael he gave us several options - replacing all the deck boards with redwood or with Trex deck boards. He was very patient in explaining the pros and cons of each option and the prices involved. In the end we decided to go with Trex. His installation of the deck with new supports and water proofing was beyond what I thought he would do. His employee Angel craftsmanship was excellent. When I identified a problem with one of the deck boards, he replaced it without problem. In the end, we spent more than we had budgeted but we are really happy with the results. If you need deck work, I recommend hiring Michael and his team.

Mike was punctual and very professional on this project which took a little over two days to complete. His assistant was very skilled in the kind of carpentry required for building a deck and benches incorporated into the structure. The photo shows the triangular area repaired after a spa had been removed. The new redwood had not yet been stained to match the older part of the deck.

Good guy, good work

Absolutely outstanding service! On time, very knowledgeable and detail oriented. Thorough installation with servicing the door and hinge mechanism. Suggested where to buy the opener to get the best and save money. Tested the installation and stayed to program the controls and accessories. First class professional!

Very quick to respond and provide a quote. Did a better job of explaining the different options of performing the work than others. They won't be your cheapest bid, but you usually get what you pay for. Was able to perform the job quickly after accepting bid. Highly recommended.

They did a great job. Very professional & courteous team lead by Mike Mohsini. He was the only contractor to give me a detailed written estimate, which was also lower than the two other verbal estimates I received. Mike also included some needed structural upgrades & other current building code requirements. The final inspection by San Francisco building department is scheduled for Monday, 6/13/22. Mike and Omar built us a double deck on a hilly terrain. They provided us with excellent service and the decks were built beautifully and according to codes. They also replaced our sidings and added insulation to our house. In all 3 projects, Mike was very professional, scheduled all work accordingly with minimal disruption to our daily activities. Most importantly, Mike fulfilled all the promises that he made throughout the projects. Canâ  t ask for a better contractor and company to carry out our projects
