Both Elijah and his partner were very courteous, professional, efficient good guys. I had left my Apple TV in a box i left behind. They were honest to call me to tell me. They brought it back up to my Mom’s place without hesitation. I’d hire them again in a heartbeat.

Elijah and the crew showed up to my house 30 mins early and were very efficient in their movement. They were very professional and were able to finish faster than I thought they would have. I could clearly see the pride they took in making sure the task was completed and accomplished to my liking. I appreciated their professionalism, their approach to task and I highly recommend them for expertise. If I can recommend more than five stars, I would

  • Happy Home Movers

3 men at $165.00 per hour seemed like enough as they took apart the 5 beds and pack 3 bedrooms and a loft without too much difficulty. But 4 of the beds were steel, fastened together with nuts and bolts so took longer than expected. They worked hard moving all the heavy and large items but no appliances. Took 10 hours (which includes a 1 hour lunch we told them to take) but they moved 4 beds, 3 dressers, 5 piece sectional, a desk and miscellaneous items to the large loft which we really appreciated. Hard work and they worked hard

I am a realtor and this move was for one of my clients, since my clients already moved into their new home I was assigned power of attorney so the moving team could come and load the truck and I was extremely impressed with the moving team that arrived. I called Safe Ship Moving Services myself so I could get all their information so I could recommend my future clients to book with them

How to hire the best moving service

Get peace of mind by knowing you did everything you could to select a great moving service. Prior to setting up a moving date with a company in Encinitas, you must ask questions and consider a variety of factors. That includes which services the moving company offers and how they hire their employees. We’ve provided some of the essentials in the following so you have an idea of what to be on the lookout for.

Which options does the mover provide?

Movers provide a wide selection of service offerings to deliver on many moving needs. Some concentrate on moving within a specific area, while others provide long-distance moving, for example. Some moving companies provide full-service options, including packing your possessions for you or setting up furniture. Talk to prospective movers about what you require and want done to determine if they’re a good option.

What does the moving service charge for its services?

Charges for moving services can be a source of confusion, so be certain you know how each mover prices. Some price based on how many boxes and the number of furniture they hauled, along with mileage fees. Others set prices based on the total weight of everything being moved, and others might charge based on time.

Moving companies might provide estimates and calculators via their websites to provide you with some notion of potential cost ranges. Don’t consider these actual quotes, as the moving company will change the price to a more accurate figure when you give them the specifics regarding your moving plans.

Is the moving service properly insured?

Only work with moving companies that have proof of carrying proper insurance and coverage for workers, their vans and other equipment, as well as your items while under the movers’ control.

Understanding the costs of contracting a mover

Moving costs vary significantly, depending on the service you select and the services you need. Moving from state to state is typically costlier than moving down the street, and relocating a three-bedroom home full of furniture and appliances is more costly than moving a studio apartment.

On average, the cost of hiring a moving contractor in the U.S. is $240 to $10,000.

Many moving contractors charge hourly, and most base prices on how long the work may take. General base rates are $25 to $50 per hour per mover, so moving teams that involve two movers and a van may cost up to $100 per hour. Many moving contractors also assess extra fees based on loads or mileage that’s more than a certain amount.

If you relocate within the state you live in, typical moving costs are about $1,400 for a typical residence. Out-of-state moves can cost $700 to $10,000. The greater the amount of things you have, the higher your expense is likely to be.

Contact moving services in Encinitas to get pricing information for services. Nearly all moving contractors ask lots of questions regarding your move to give you the most reliable estimate possible.
