"We had such a great experience with this lawn service! The crew showed up right on time and worked together to get everything done so quickly. Our yard has never looked better—it’s like a whole new space. Everyone was super polite and easy to work with, which made the whole process stress-free. We really appreciated how approachable and professional they were. Would definitely recommend them to anyone needing help with their yard!"

"Chad went more than expected. He had to come back a couple of times; not because of problems but because he wanted to do a little extra on his own time. I would hire him again for other work around the house."

"They showed up on time ready to work. The job they did on my 60 year old Jacaranda was very professional. I can't stop going outside and looking at it. I highly recommend them to anyone looking for great work at a fair price. Thanks Ed..."

"I hired Green Land after meeting with almost a dozen landscape contractors. Jay met with us and went over our plans. Unprompted, he also showed us 4-5 different recent jobs that he had completed. Each of the owners greeted us and encouraged us to look no further. We are happy we ended up choosing Green Land. Theyve done a lot of houses in the La Costa area of Carlsbad and some in Del Mar. Really high end work. PROS: Workmanship. Attention to detail. Our pool was built in 2016 and we have had ZERO issues. Overall design was amazing. It made a huge difference to the front and back of our property. Green landscaping (our water bill dropped about $50/month despite adding more plants). Did I mention the workmanship? Second to none and still more cost effective than 90% of the bids we got. We cant wait to save up to buy another home to get to do the landscaping again. CONS: None! Ive recommended them to a few of our neighbors. From the looks of the signs in the neighborhood, it looks like they took our advice, too."

Lawns questions, answered by experts

Professional services offer efficient, safe waste and junk removal, ensuring legal compliance and environmental responsibility. Professionals handle items systematically, disposing of them properly or recycling, which contributes to clutter reduction and enhanced property safety.

Yes, if your home is poorly maintained and has weeds and overgrowth, it can affect your home appraisal and lower the value. Home buyers want to see a well-kept home, and if yours lacks curb appeal whether inundated by weeds or not, you could be neglecting the potential for it to reach its full value.

Excavators work in tandem with dump trucks to haul away excess dirt and soil. The excavator will dig into the ground and move the excess dirt into a pile. Using a backhoe, the specialist can fill a truck with excavated soil from that pile. They will then drive the truck to a different location where they can dump the material.

If you have a large area of brush and vegetation to clear, forestry mulching may be the best option. This method works well for relatively flat areas that don’t have many large rocks or mature trees to clear. Forestry mulching is a relatively quick process that improves soil health, reduces fire risk, and leaves behind usable mulch.

Digging a bush up by the roots is the most natural DIY method for removing a bush stump. Start by identifying the shrub type and revealing its roots. Cut the shrub to its base and loosen the soil, ensuring no utility lines are nearby. Optionally, treat the base with herbicide, then dig around the roots and cut a circle around the shrub using various tools. Dig a trench, cut the base of the root ball, and finally fill the hole to prevent regrowth. This thorough process ensures complete removal without damaging surrounding areas.
