"I hired Green Land after meeting with almost a dozen landscape contractors. Jay met with us and went over our plans. Unprompted, he also showed us 4-5 different recent jobs that he had completed. Each of the owners greeted us and encouraged us to look no further. We are happy we ended up choosing Green Land. Theyve done a lot of houses in the La Costa area of Carlsbad and some in Del Mar. Really high end work. PROS: Workmanship. Attention to detail. Our pool was built in 2016 and we have had ZERO issues. Overall design was amazing. It made a huge difference to the front and back of our property. Green landscaping (our water bill dropped about $50/month despite adding more plants). Did I mention the workmanship? Second to none and still more cost effective than 90% of the bids we got. We cant wait to save up to buy another home to get to do the landscaping again. CONS: None! Ive recommended them to a few of our neighbors. From the looks of the signs in the neighborhood, it looks like they took our advice, too."

"He quickly diagnosed that the recent heavy rains shorted out the sprinkler controls, but then found that the original pipes proving the water were leaking at the joints. He suggested that they be fixed also which made the repairs much more expensive and involved. The total cost then went from the $430 for the rewiring to $1130. He let me decide so despite the unplanned huge cost I reluctantly said to go ahead hoping I wasn't throwing my money away. It took him over 4 hours to do the job. He was very good at his job and was quite professional, even though he was able to work efficiently while also talking to is wife on the phone who kept calling on the phone. I Would have been happy just his repairing the automatic watering system and taken my chances on the leaking pipes......they seemed minor but could have been a problem in the future, but at 82 it may have been someone else's problem in the future and not had to spend so much for upkeep. He was a nice guy and left the decision up to me, but of course, my wife was unhappy for the huge expense,"
