"Responded quickly by making appointment to view our property and provide an estimate of a full yard clean up. We had to break the appointment when we had the opportunity to instead use a neighbor very much in need of the work. They were very understanding and we will contact them again when we need a new estimate."

"Profusion group is extremely professional in customer service and flexible to meet changing customer project needs. Not only did they repair our sprinkler/irrigation system but they cleaned up afterward leaving the lawn area in much better condition than it had been before. There are many companies or individuals who will do this work, but Profusion group will earn your business."

Customers say: Quality work

"He is extremely knowledgeable regarding landscaping and irrigation. His approach is to teach and explain why he is doing something and why he is recommending an approach. His diagnostic skills to determine the source of the problem is excellent. Very easy to communicate with and communicates to make sure everyone is on same page. I have been doing sprinkler and drip irrigation for over 25 years and he taught me a few new things. My wife is an avid gardener and is shy around people she doesn't know. However, he even won over my wife based on his easy approach and knowledge of plants, trees, and shrubs and she feels very comfortable around him. We highly recommend him."

"Ruben and company did an excellent job of clearing out my planter boxes, plants, rock and mulch in the backyard and replacing the area with a whole new lawn. He also took out the drip water system and repaired and replaced some sprinklers in the existing system and made sure it worked. Clean up was thorough. I would recommend him to anyone needing this kind of work."

"I think they treated the wrong lawn. The note they sent me via text message referenced trees and shrubs in my yard, I have none. They also did not leave a yard marker showing they had been there. Otherwise, this would have been a 5 star review."

Lawns questions, answered by experts

A standard home lawn mower with sharp blades can handle a thin layer of leaves without issue. You may need to make a couple of passes within several days to mulch leaves down, but your mower shouldn’t struggle. If your mower comes with a mulching kit, like an attachment to blow leaves out the side, that’s a good sign it’s ready for fall leaves. Set your mower to the highest or near-highest height for this project so it focuses on the leaves rather than the grass below.

Trees that provide a habitat to bats and an abundance of bugs—their main food source—will attract bats to your yard. Because the North American landscape has changed so much in recent years, bats have a harder time finding trees with cavities to shelter in. If your yard has a dead or dying tree with a lot of sun exposure, bats will likely be drawn to it because trees with those features are less common.

The legality of blowing leaves into the street depends on your city or county laws. Many cities have codes that restrict blowing leaves into the street because it can obstruct the view of nearby drivers and make cars dirty, not to mention angering neighbors. Violations can result in a fine or other problems. You can check the codes on your municipal government website to learn more local guidelines, but avoid spraying leaves into streets for now.

Seal bags firmly for materials like soil or mulch, store unused parts in dry and cool spaces to prevent decay and use material visually formed covers for extended periods.

No, definitely not. Pulling weeds by hand is the single most effective way to remove them because you're eliminating the entire plant—roots and all—so it won’t have a chance to grow or spread. Setting time aside a few times per week to pull weeds can keep them at bay. If the number of weeds gets overwhelming, then you can resort to other methods.
