"At the start, Desi did a great job with my yard. Subsequently, he has been very non-communicative and somewhat rude. He has not been very responsive when I have texted him questions. There were issues with some of the work he was doing so I wanted him to come when I was home. I also wanted him to come on a monthly timeframe. After that, he didn't come at all. I have tried reaching him only to be told to send me my address and he would get back to me. He never did. I don't recommend using their services."

"I do not usually give bad reviews but greenway was very poor with their service and was way overpriced. I hired Greenway for a side yard work. The job was to install two sets of steps with stones and install ground covers and optimize the existing irrigation at my home. There were two medium-sized pine trees that I wanted to be removed. The quote they gave had over $2500 just to cut the two trees leaving the stumps behind. I requested them to take that item off the request. I could have this done for less than $400 with another company. In hindsight I should have backed off and not allowed them to work on my yard at all. That was a clue to how overpriced they were. However, we decided to give them a chance. They finished the work fast, but had to redo the steps with stone because the steps started coming off within 2 days Initially they had this done by a subcontractor. Greenway redid it because it was that bad and unsafe to walk on. The rest of the work was mediocre at best, and way overpriced for what they did. I just want to share my experience so that others do not fall for the 30years of experience that this company boasts. I have to say that the owners and the workers were very professional and friendly throughout the project which earns them 3 stars."

"I needed a wall-topper along the back of my property (for safety, to keep dogs and kids from jumping/falling over the low wall). Pablo of Green Island Landscape helped me pick the right materials for the job. The end result exceeded my expectations. It is durable, VERY well-mounted (they went through a lot of work to drill holes through steel and concrete to mortar-set the posts), and looks like it was part of the original design. I have talked to Pablo about other landscape design projects. He has some great ideas and I look forward to having him work here again. "

"Jay and his team at Greenland did a great job for me! I would highly recommend them! They installed a paver walkway and patio in the backyard, including a border around my grass area. New sprinklers, new plants, weed barrier & pebble ground cover. We also did a dry riverbed in the front yard with plantings and sprinkler system. I’m very pleased. Thank you!"

"Henrique was great Once he arrived at the job. We thought that he was not going to show up. Turned out that he had a flat tire. A simple text would have helped us understand the delay. He and his crew worked fast and efficiently and took care of everything that he promised. We recommend and will contract with him again."

"This is my second experience with Angi. The first was EXCELLENT. This was the opposite. I hired Romero Landscape to do an initial trim and clean-up of my yard, followed by service every 2-3 weeks. His guys (not the guy I had been corresponding with) finally arrived today (after lots of back and forth and many texts left unanswered) while I was away from home and cut back my jasmine bushes and my raised garden bed (I was clear the raised garden bed was not part of the job). No weed pulling. No tree trimming (I was clear that was the main thing I needed). Clipped two irrigation lines. Made a small effort to clean up. So, I texted saying, "I'm assuming someone is coming back tomorrow to finish the job." I got a bunch of angry aggressive texts and ended up blocking him. Ugh. There's obviously a reason they only have one review. LESSON LEARNED."

"Joe and his team installed grass from scratch in our Carmel Valley home. They took away old dried up grass, re-leveled the area, installed a mesh under the grass to prevent more gophers from making holes, and installed new Marathon. It looks great! Joe and his team were very professional, and completed the work in the time they said they would. Joe cares a lot regarding the quality of the job and has excellent communication. He is both knowledgeable and friendly. When they came in we were still ruffled from a prior difficult experience with a hardscape company, and Joe and his team helped put us to ease. We had a great experience with them and highly recommend Joe and his team to anyone else."

"My experience with Brothers was outstanding. Luis came over, gave me a bid, zero pressure, just let him know when I was ready. So I called him back, and he and his guys were over that afternoon. Luis left his workers, Leonardo and Gabriel and told me that they wouldn't leave until I was happy...I was thrilled, good guys who did a great job! The yard looked great, trimming and thinning and haul away, I will definitely use Brothers Landscaping in the future. Thanks for a great job, Luis!"
