They were awesome!! They were friendly, they were prompt, and they even helped me figure out how to contact Anderson about a window screen that has been damaged by my landscapers. We were interested in obtaining a company to clean our floor vents and one wall vent since we've NEVER had them cleaned since we moved to the Talmadge area 25 years ago.  My intention was to contact at least 2 companies for quotes.  After checking Angie's list for Coit and ASI which had  'B' ratings, I decided I wanted a company with an 'A' rating. What attracted me to G&G was . . . 1) They had an 'A' rating . . 2) They had a special for $199.00 . . . and the 'comments' on services rendered were VERY favorable.  My intention was to ask about the process and then contact another company to compare information.  However, I was so impressed with the gentlemen answering my questions on the phone, I decided to schedule the vent cleaning with G&G.  Scheduled services was set up for 10/7 BUT (to my good fortune) the gentleman called me back within 20 minutes to say that he had a cancellation and if I wanted to have the service performed today, it was now available.  I agreed.  Gabriel and his assistant arrived at my door 45 minutes later.  They were personable, professional, knowledgeable and explained the process as they went along.  I opted to have 'sanitation of the vents' done as well which was another $150.  I don't think I mentioned that at the time I called for the service, the special for vent cleaning had expired 2 days ago.  However, G&G honored the 'special rate' of $199.00.  Wow.

"Requested a quote, they arrived on time and had sample windows to actually look at. Went with them, they took less than half a day, arrived on time, and the windows look great. For one of the windows, a little bit of stucco was damaged during installation and they notified us the damaged happened, came back, and repaired it the next week. "Derek recently installed two doors for me, an entry door from the garage to the house, as well as a front door. He was recommended to me by Dixieline Lumber and Home Centers in Escondido, where I special ordered my fire-rated garage door. The front door install was pretty standard; however, the garage door was very problematic as I found out that the door measurements (confirmed by my home remodel contractor) were slightly off and the incorrect size door was ordered. The garage entry door was special ordered and could not be returned, as well as was pricey. Derek called Dixeline to discuss solutions. He provided me with two options, order a new door which would take approximately 6-8 weeks to be delivered and consider my special order door a loss. Option 1 was the the easier install option. Option 2 was that he could reframe the entry way and install the door that I ordered. Option 2 was more labor intensive and slightly more expensive; however, thatâ s the option I chose so I could use the door that I ordered which matched the cabinets in my house. Derek obtained all the materials needed to reframe my door, plus hinges, seals, etc., and bore out the holes of my slab door for the handles and locks. While reframing, he also noticed old termite damage which he also fixed by replacing some wood. Installing the garage door was literally an all-day project for him and despite all the issues, Derek made it work and the door looks fantastic. Derek also cut and installed new door trim for both doors, as well as installed Google Yale locks. He tested both locks which worked fine at the time; however, after he left, I noticed an issue with the one lock not consistently locking properly. I spoke to him and he promptly returned the next morning to adjust the lock. I highly recommend Derek was he professional, direct, had great communication and was a problem solver. My home remodel contractor could have installed my doors, but Iâ ve heard from so many people that installing doors is not easy and is an art. Iâ m so glad that I went with Derek who does this every day as his specialty."

"The contractors did an excellent job in repairing the sliding glass door. They were very professional as expected. They assessed the issue as deteriorated rollers. Removed the door, replaced the rollers assemblies, adjusted and aligned the rollers to ensure the correct alignment of the door height was parallel with the frame. The door opens and closes with ease. Could not expected more from those professionals. I would hire them again for any door issues."

"Dealing with American Vision Windows was fantastic!  I really appreciated how well they adhered to the time frame established for installation.  It took into account my schedule.  The team, who did the installation was clean, professional, and responsive to questions.  This company is clearly dedicated to customer satisfaction.  In ordering, I neglected to specify I wanted dead bolts installed on all three sliding doors.  I made one phone call, and very quickly the additional dead bolt was installed.  American Vision windows also used top end insulation material around the windows, which will further help to keep the house comfortable.  Finally, they did a great job of cleaning up at the end of each day.  Everyone I dealt with from this company was easy to work with and totally customer oriented.  Great experience!

"I shopped around with other window and stucco/paint contractors before I chose Approved Contractor. Justin gave me a very detailed quote and worked with me to help me decide and define exactly what I wanted. He convinced me to go with the elastomeric coating over doing a re-stucco job because of its benefits of heat reflection, waterproofing, and it was basically the same price when you include the painting of all the eaves and trim on the house. I received a very fair price for each of the items and services, so decided to go with him for my entire home improvement project. Everything went quite smoothly despite delays of materials from suppliers due to COVID. Justin kept me informed as to progress of the manufacture and delivery of the windows, and was very responsive to my questions. The subcontractors he used to perform the work were all very skilled and professional. There were quite a few different people involved because of all the different things I was having done, so it got confusing at times when someone came to the door to do the day's work. In all, it took about 1 week to install 25 windows on my 2 story house (including sliding glass door), and 1 week to do the prep and paint/coating work. A few thousand $ in extra, unexpected expenses popped up, like replacing some dry-rot wood, extra stucco work around my new front door, and extra tiles for the new roof area, but Justin offered most of those additions to the contract at cost. I also know that there are often unexpected things that happen with new construction or reconstruction that cannot be seen and bid on beforehand, so I didn't feel like I was being taken to the cleaners with the extra costs. My house looks beautiful now, and I feel I made a very good investment, and a very good decision to go with Approved Contractor, Inc."
