"I highly recommend Infinite Tile! Carlos was easy to communicate with and the price was great. He worked with our budget and we even ended up getting a waterfall edge for a great price for our quartz countertops. It took less than a week for the countertops to be ready after Carlos came in to do final measurements. Their installers did a great job installing the countertops. We are so happy with how everything turned out."

"Our water heater started leaking on Sunday. Isaac responded to our query within minutes. He rearranged his schedule to be here early Monday morning. He arrived on schedule and our water heater was installed and functioning by noon. He is not only professional, fair and knowledgeable but a great guy."

"California Home Center did a perfect job remodeling my bathroom. From the first consultation to the final touches, their team was professional and easy to work with. They helped me choose a modern design that fit my style and budget. The workmanship was flawless, and the attention to detail really stood out. Every tile, fixture, and finish was installed with care. They completed the project on time and kept the workspace clean throughout. I felt informed and supported during every step of the process. I couldn’t be happier with the results and highly recommend them for any bathroom remodel."

"There were three workers for about 5 hours at a cost of $630. They worked non stop and were able to remove a rust stain on the tile in the shower, years of dirt on a heat lamp in the ceiling and many other feats due to negligence. The owner arrived with the team and checked back at noon and at the end of their time always checking their work and making sure they were taking care of the specific things I had requested. It was a great experience and I will now be using them twice a month."

Backsplash Installation questions, answered by experts

Generally speaking, it is better to cut tile wet when using a fast-moving wet saw to reduce dust and chipping. However, tile can be cut dry when using just about any cutting tool. Dry cutting will result in a bigger mess and may increase the risk of chipping or cracking, but if you’re just making small cuts, dry cutting is a safe and viable option. Cutting dry also means you can apply tile grout sooner, so it’s better for rushed projects.

When choosing between porcelain and ceramic tile, the best option depends on your specific needs, budget, and project application. Porcelain tile is generally more durable, denser, and harder than ceramic, making it a good choice for busy, high-traffic areas. It also offers superior moisture resistance, making it ideal for moisture-retaining spaces. However, porcelain is typically more expensive, and its hardness can make it brittle, potentially causing it to crack if a heavy object is dropped on it. In contrast, ceramic tile is a more budget-friendly option with lower material and installation costs. It is softer and easier to work with, making it a great choice for DIY projects. While not as durable as porcelain, ceramic is still a quality material suitable for many home applications, particularly small, decorative projects.

Yes, tiling a bathroom is a great way to boost your home's value, especially if you are replacing old or dated flooring. Adding a new tile floor can deliver a return on investment (ROI) of around 56.4%, with some projects offering up to 100% ROI. Buyers appreciate new tile because it provides a modern look and is known for being durable, water-resistant, low-maintenance, and easy to clean. For the best results and highest return, consider hiring a professional, as tiling mistakes can be very noticeable and detract from the value.

Replacing tile flooring can take a few days for a pro, but larger rooms will need more time. It takes eight to 12 hours for a tiling pro to remove old grout and tiles across 100 square feet. Then, it will take about four hours to prep the subfloor for tiles and another eight to 10 hours for a pro to install new tiles. Your tiling project may take up to a week, depending on the size of the room.

The tile spacing you should use will depend on the tile and where you’re installing it. Choosing the right tile spacers to maintain a consistent gap between your tiles is tricky. Generally, tile spacing shouldn’t be less than 2 millimeters on walls and 3 millimeters on floors because of stress relief requirements. Getting it wrong can result in uneven tiles and early repairs.
