"This was a multi-faceted job. Two large trees in front yard, a mesquite and a palo verde, needed trimming beyond a ladder's reach. The crew leader Diaz climbed the trees with safety ropes and harness to reach and thin the two trees. He also lightened at least one third of the weight of a tree in the rear yard, leaving the portions needed to maintain privacy. Arborist Jack then visited my property in order to design a support for that tree to preclude the likelihood of it falling and damaging pool equipment and the house, which was subsequently installed by a specialist technician. Good job in all respects."

"Because of the substantial storm of August 2nd, I ended up with a toppled Chilean mesquite tree in my front yard. I called around for tree removal companies and received quotes from $700 to $1,000 and up to a month wait time. I sent The Hungry Tree an email asking them if they could do the work. They initially gave me an appointment of August 16th and I felt that this was a reasonable time due to the amount of work that they had. Stephany told me that she might be able to get me in sooner. "We had a bit of a challenge getting scheduled, but Scott was diligent, and stopped by before hand to assess the job and got the job scheduled.   The rate was based on an Angie's list deal "$249 for $400 Worth of Tree Service!" and because of the size of the job, it ran $100 more.
Scott and his team did an excellent job trimming the trees, hauling off the debris, and left the work site clean and raked.
Scott seems to have a good knowledge of trees, proper trimming/pruning methods, growth patterns, and cultivation.  We discussed several other trees on my property (for future work) since the City of Scottsdale hacked up one of my trees in the back yard which had limbs reaching into the power-line easement.
