Welcome to Legacy EV the Valley leader in charger maintenance and services, your one stop shop for all your Electric Vehicle Charging needs. We offer the following services: Level 2 EV Charger Installation Charger Service and Maintenance Electric Panel Upgrades Home wiring and re-wiring needs

"EV Clients Beware – Is the minimal savings worth it in the long haul? I want to share my experience with Legacy EV so other EV owners can avoid the stress, wasted time, and financial headache I’ve endured. What looked like a promising purchase has turned into weeks of frustration, misleading promises, and an outright refusal to take responsibility. The Product Failure I purchased a Tesla Universal Wall Connector from Legacy EV. Almost immediately, the unit began failing intermittently — sometimes charging, sometimes not, with error codes like a blinking blue light appearing randomly. Despite having a licensed, bonded, and insured electrician (the same one who installed it) return multiple times to confirm the installation was correct, the issues continued. This was clearly not an installation problem. The Runaround Legacy EV claimed that help would be “readily available” and that a full refund would be honored if the product was defective. Instead, I’ve been met with endless voicemail prompts, unreturned calls, and English-speaking representatives who are nearly impossible to reach. When I finally did get through, I was told to contact Tesla, who then redirected me to GMC, who — unsurprisingly — refused to help since it’s not a GMC product. Misleading Sales Practices When I asked directly who owned the company, President and Cofounder Mavrick Knoles didn’t disclose his own role — only for me to later find out the truth. This lack of transparency, combined with false assurances about refund and support policies, raises serious ethical concerns. The “Options” They Offered Were Insulting • File a warranty claim with Tesla • Return it with a restocking fee (despite being told a full refund would be honored if defective or was not working properly with a non Telsa EV) • Buy another unit from them (why would I when the first one was a disaster?) The Reality Legacy EV’s business model seems to hinge on dodging responsibility and making customers jump through hoops until they give up. I have detailed documentation, photographs, and time logs of every interaction, and I am now pursuing complaints with the BBB, the Arizona Attorney General’s Office, local news outlets, and preparing for legal action to recover my costs and damages. If you value honesty, timely customer service, and getting what you paid for, do NOT trust Legacy EV. The small initial savings are absolutely not worth the nightmare that may follow. #LegacyEV #EVCharging #ConsumerWarning #BadBusiness #EVOwnersBeware #TeslaChargerFail"

Why Mr. Electric of Phoenix Metro? Because we provide more than a service; we provide solutions. We understand that no two customer’s electrical service and repair needs are the same. We also understand that when making important decisions about Electrical Upgrades & Improvements, Specialty Lighting, Safety & Security, and Energy Savings, the more information you have the better. The experts at Mr. Electric provide you with the information you need to make informed decisions, and work alongside you to decide on the best possible solutions for all your residential and commercial electrical needs. Expert Electrical Service, Repair and Installation for Maricopa and Pinal counties. Emergency service 24/7 License, Insured, Bonded.

"My wife & I recently experienced a problem with one of our home's exterior GFCI duplex outlets (Ground Fault Circuit Interrupter). As it turned out, we had two (2) GFCI's on the same circuit when we only needed one (1). One unit was replaced with a regular duplex outlet leaving just one (1) GFCI to protect the circuit which is as it should be. This was tied into our pool equipment panel and protected by an internal 20amp circuit breaker. There were a few other issues as well but the primary purpose of this "review" is to let others know how we feel about the service that we received from Mr. Electric. Our experience was, in fact, a very good one and the electrician, Robert F., was a pleasure to work with as it turned out. He was willing to listen carefully to our description of what we had experienced and then took the time to explain the possible causes prior to his actual trouble shooting. When he saw that I took an interest in learning the basics, he also took the time to explain what he was doing & why which proved to be an extra-added benefit. Robert has been in the business for some 25 years and his skill & expertise were equaled by his attention to details as well as a genuine concern for this customer's inquisitive mind. This was, in fact, our third experience with using Mr. Electric in the same home as on two other separate occasions I had outlets & switching installed in our garage/workshop area for both our garage door opener as well as power & a switch for my workshop lighting. Our other experience was when we needed a difficult to reach ceiling fan installed which also required some work in the attic to run the wiring. In each & every situation the work was performed by professionals who knew their trade & then some with outstanding overall performance & service as the end result. If you are in need of having electrical work performed in your home or business, we highly recommend Mr. Electric's service hands down. We will definitely use them for all of our future electrical needs without hesitation. Thanks to Mr. Electric & Robert F. for such outstanding service! Steve & Nancy M."

Family owned business with over 30 years experience. We do not sub-contract our work. All work will be done by a licensed professional electrician. We accept cash, check, card, and have financing options. Once the work is complete we will collect payment in full.

"They came out and fixed our problem quickly, they charged me 1850.00 to change 6 fuses .i was out of town so I couldn’t do it myself. These fuses cost roughly 30.00 each, I believe they took advantage of our desperate situation.they did the same for the rest of the mall also , someone stole our electric disconnects so I called on behalf of the mall , they charged everyone else roughly 4800.00 to add the stolen fuses . This is not a company that is part of the community, terrible business practices with the gouging.. there was also spares in the bottom of the box and they took them and charged the others for new ones"

Ev Charger Installer questions, answered by experts

Local electricians with experience in your area understand the local building codes, which is very important when doing new electrical work. They also have experience with the kind of electrical problems homes in your location may have, and even the components that were used in the original construction, which leads them to make faster and better decisions.

You can use outdoor electrical outlets to conveniently power landscaping equipment such as electrical lawnmowers, leaf blowers, and pressure washers. From a recreational standpoint, outdoor outlets are handy for powering electric grills, mini-fridges, and stereos. They're also helpful when it's time to string Christmas lights on your home and around your property.

Yes, although there are different types of electricians, they must be licensed, certified, and in most cases insured. States have different requirements for electrician licensing and certifications. In some cases, there may be licensing requirements at the local level, but not the state level. It’s always a good practice to confirm requirements with your local municipality. If licensing is not required in your area, you may pay more for a licensed electrician with experience than one who is not licensed or certified, but you’re likely to get a better end result for your project.

As you browse our pro listings, take note of the “Angi Approved” badge. Angi Approved businesses meet our standards for certification which include:

  • The owner, principal, or relevant manager passed a criminal background check

  • Required to have applicable state and local licenses

  • Maintain an average star rating of 3.0 or better on our network, if they have at least one review

  • Paying to advertise their services

  • Meeting any other eligibility criteria required by Angi

Keep in mind licensing is different from certifications. A license is a legal requirement to operate a business, while certifications are voluntary.

Upgrading your electrical system can save you money on your monthly utility bills by powering your home more efficiently. Electrification nonprofit Rewiring America estimates that a household could save $1,800 per year on energy bills by upgrading to a modern electric heat pump, switching to a heat pump for their water, installing solar panels on the roof, and converting to an electric vehicle.

Setting up utilities on a vacant property usually takes at least a few months, or between 6 weeks to 16 weeks. This process requires working with the local planning and zoning department, hiring a building contractor or engineer to design the utility layout, securing permits, laying the lines, and connecting the utilities.
