"We needed our bathroom faucets changed out kinda quickly. The response time from contacting them to getting a quote to getting it done was awesome. Showed up on time (which is rare these days), were friendly and did good work. The work caused some debris which they vacuumed, mopped and left it spotless. Will def use them again for my next project (Flat Screen TV’s on wall)."

"We used Bainâ s services for the first time to install a microwave over our stove. Dan quoted a price over the phone that we found very reasonable. He kept us advised on his arrival time and was very professional and friendly. It did not appear to be an easy task, but he was in and out in under an hour and charged the quoted price. We will definitely use his services again. Thanks Dan!"

"Rafa helped my family install the lights for our new bathroom and the outlet on the wall. The new lights installed really illuminate the bathroom on top of the sink and on top of the shower compared to just having one light in the center. Along with a new line towards the power house, thanks to him we were able to finish the vision we had towards getting the project complete, we really appreciate his help."

Fire Pit Installation questions, answered by experts

You can safely build a fire pit on your patio as long as you use porous, fire-resistant pavers or a fire pit mat over existing pavers. Otherwise, you’ll need to have exposed ground beneath your pit. You’ll also need to make sure the location for the fire pit is far enough away from your house and any other nearby structures.

EIFS has several disadvantages, primarily related to cost and moisture. The system tends to have higher upfront installation costs compared to other siding options, and repairs can also be expensive, especially if water damage occurs. A significant downside is its low breathability, which can trap moisture between its layers from either leakage or condensation. This trapped moisture increases the risk of developing mold and rot, which can lead to costly and extensive repairs if not addressed promptly.

Yes, a hot or overheating outlet is a fire hazard and can cause a fire. An outlet becoming hot indicates an electrical problem, such as an overloaded circuit, loose connections, or a faulty component. The heat from these issues can ignite nearby flammable materials like curtains or furniture. If you notice an outlet is hot to the touch, turn off the power at the circuit breaker, unplug any connected devices, and consult a qualified electrician. If a fire does start, use a Class C fire extinguisher or baking soda to suppress it, or evacuate immediately and call the fire department.

It’s technically possible in some areas to install your own fire suppression system, but it’s usually not a good idea. Your system must conform to the fire code in your area and will need to pass a rigorous inspection before being activated and deemed safe. Installing a fire suppression system is a complicated job, and making mistakes as a DIYer is likely. Those mistakes can cause you to fail your inspection, which means you’ll have to spend more time fixing the issues or money to have a certified plumber do the work for you. It’s best to hire a professional.

Safety concerns with propane boilers include proper venting to prevent carbon monoxide buildup, secure gas line connections, and regular inspection of safety controls. Professional boiler installation and annual maintenance are essential to minimize risks. Having a carbon monoxide detector installed in your home is essential for early detection of any leaks or ventilation issues.
