Small jobs welcome

"Jeff Junk Hauling did an amazing job! Jeff was professional, friendly, and very efficient from start to finish. He showed up on time, worked quickly, and made the whole process of getting rid of unwanted items completely stress-free. Everything was handled carefully, and the area was left clean after the job was done. The pricing was fair and the service exceeded my expectations. I would definitely recommend Jeff Junk Hauling to anyone looking for reliable and trustworthy junk removal. I?ll absolutely be using them again in the future!"

"Called ahead of arrival so I was ready for them. In fact, they were a little ahead of schedule, a pleasant surprise. Hauling a washer & dryer up flight of stairs didn't seem to faze them one bit."

"Jose answered my call right away. He came out the next day and bid a very fair price. I hired him because he cared about my treeâ  s health and not only trimming them but doing it in the best way for the tree also. Jose and his partner came out the next morning. On time and went right to work. They did everything we agreed on without any supervision. I had a lot of fragile obstacles in my back yard to work around and a tall branch over my neighbors wall and yard. They were careful not to get anything in the neighborâ  s yard and did an awesome job of cleaning up and hauling away. I couldn't be happier. I recommend them and will hire them again in the future."

Hauling questions, answered by experts

Yes, most services include basic site cleanup and proper disposal of debris, which may include hazardous materials. It is always best to confirm the specifics with your provider.

The average cost of junk removal is around $250, but prices for this work range from $60 for small projects to $600 or more for large projects. Some companies charge per hour of work, but most will inspect your home and then give you a flat fee for the entire project. Garbage removal labor varies from project to project, so the best way to get an accurate estimate for your service is to contact a reputable garbage removal company in your area and hire them to inspect the junk that you plan to remove.

Rubber mulch is recyclable and should not be disposed of in landfills. Contact local recycling centers or rubber mulch manufacturers, as many offer take-back programs. You can also repurpose it for other landscaping projects, donate it to schools or community parks, or sell it online. If removal is necessary, use a shovel and rake to collect the mulch, then transport it to the appropriate disposal or recycling facility.

One of the best ways to reduce packaging waste is to purchase materials that are made using recycled materials. While these don’t eliminate waste, they do help provide uses for old packaging materials and prevent the need to collect more raw ingredients for continued manufacturing. Recycling those same products helps complete the cycle and reduces the need for new materials in the supply chain. You can also upcycle some packing materials, like cardboard and plastic, for use in crafts and organizational tools.

In short, yes, contractors should clean up any debris, materials, and tools left from their projects. However, whether their services include a deep clean often depends on the contract. Most homeowners will hire an additional cleaner after construction for a thorough pass through the house to ensure the space is safe and as clean from construction dust as possible.
