"Dennis with Condor was a joy to work with. Very concencious & hard working . Made sure I was completely happy with the job. He stayed on top of it and let me know everything that was going to take place. If I had any concerns he addressed them in a timely manner. I would hire him again! I also had him build a car port for me, very satisfied!!!"

"I hired Noah with JM Roofing to come out and give us a estimate for a roof over our soon to be built patio. When Noah arrived he noticed my roof was in need of repair and told me to get with State Farm to have them come and look at it and to let him know when they would be at my house and he would meet them to inspect my roof together. Few days later on 3/8/17 State Farm came out and along with Noah they deemed my roof / garage door had around $8300.00 worth of damage due to recent storms. All throughout the process Noah was great to text and call me when things came up. Once it was deemed I needed a new roof and garage door , Noah got the ball rolling with getting everything lined up to do. On Monday morning 3/13/17 his crew showed up to do my roof and they stayed until 7:45 pm that night in the cold to make sure it was done and done right. They made sure to go through my yard twice with their big magnet to get any nails and staples out of my yard so that my kids and dog would not get hurt. Their crew was very courteous and polite and they really cleaned up their work site once they were done. The next day on 3/14/17 the garage tech came out and installed our new garage door and new trim around it. I had a question about the spring on the door and when I called Noah to ask about it , Noah called the garage tech and the garage tech called me back within 5 minutes with answers to my question. Awesome customer service. From start to finish this whole project from the time State Farm was at my house inspecting until the project was complete was 4 days not including the weekend.I would highly recommend JM Roofing for any projects that come up. Their crew that put my roof on was hands down awesome. I am planning on using them again in the future on projects that arise."

"Albert and his crew were great to work with. He was prompt with responding to calls or texts and always willing to go over our ideas and wishes. We were so pleased with Albert's work that a few years after we finished our custom home, we had Albert enclose our screened porch and make a sunroom, which we love. Highly recommend Albert Salinas and Quality Builders!"

"Never saw contractor again after job started. Had 2 water leaks under new sink. Subcontractor used unlicensed **plumbers** First leak, Wilson said it would be 5 days to get someone there. Second leak, the subcontractor refused to come back. Both times I called a real plumbing company to fix leaks, which was more expense on me, for mistakes the contractor was responsible for. It was a small partial bath remodel, new vanity countertop, sink and faucet, new toilet, and all cabinetry repainted along with window frame. I am sure he had much larger jobs, but not a good excuse. Do not believe his 3 Year Warranty. The guy that was in charge of doing the counters came 3 times to measure and would not send plumber. the first thing they did was install a toilet which i he stored until it was ready to install. When they got ready to install the sink and installed the sink backwards. They got this corrected but created leaks in the plumbing. I texted to let them know there were leaks and the washers were not installed."

"Excellent experience with NW Construction. I was managing the project from out of state on our rental property. Gary responded when we had questions and his bid was very competitive. I would certainly use NW Construction for future projects."

"Tom was very eager to help and to make the job the best he could for the amount of money I had to work with. Overall they do a pretty good job. Scheduling delays occurred with both roof and gutter crews due to a busy storm season. While understandable, the delays could have been communicated better and cleanup a little more thorough once the job was completed. I think a ‘B’ is a pretty fair rating, the work didn’t blow my mind but was satisfactory and should last for years to come."

"The Johnson Brothers worked on a condominium deck repair / rebuild project where I live. As a board member of the POA, I delt directly with the Johnson Brothers in the project. The Johnson Brothers meet with our board members right away and took the time to survey our properties with us and hear our concerns. Since our repairs involved a deck between top floor and bottom floor owners, it was fairly complex. But the Johnson Brothers were very familiar with the structural issues we were facing. Their repair plan worked very well. They did a great job of communicating with us on start date, progress reports, any issues that came up. Their work was very thorough, they fixed the problems, and our decks are as good as new - likely even better than new."

"The job was done very well. Our ceiling looks new again like there was no damage before. I also like that he made sure the surrounding area were all well protected from potential damages before starting his work. Steven is also kind and trustworthy."

Subcontractors questions, answered by experts

The process involves initial consultation, concept development, detailed planning, regulatory approvals, and integration of contractor work for project execution.

Stone, marble, and brick are common building materials of Neoclassical architecture, though you will also find wood flooring and a range of natural stone tiles. Since several home styles fall under Neoclassical architects' umbrella, a range of building materials—including traditional wood framing—will make an appearance.

The only real drawback to green building is that it’s more expensive up front, with per-square-foot prices sitting 33% higher than what you’d pay to build a traditional home. The higher cost is due to more expensive building materials and more labor to ensure every aspect of the home is as efficient as possible. However, green buildings often save money in the long run, so this is just a temporary downside.

Dark academia is more of an interior decorating style than it is a type of architecture, but it calls on themes prevalent in gothic architecture. Part of the appeal of dark academia is that you can achieve the look and feel without renovating or remodeling your home. Instead, you can switch to a dark color palette and introduce metal, natural wood furniture, plaid decor, old books, and gothic decor to get the look and feel just right.

You likely need to hire an architect for your new house design and build, unless you have the design skills and experience with building regulations and standards needed to get your plans approved. If you are able to meet the design requirements, you can hire a draftsperson to create the blueprints for the builders to follow.
