"This was the first time our yard had been mowed this year. We still had a lot of debris from the tornado last year that had not been removed because of dealing with insurance. They did an exceptional job with moving the debris, mowing and also weeding and mulching a flower garden for us. I would recommend Blair Landscaping to anyone."

"Fenced in rock back yard covered with some leaves and pine needles. One section had a thicker layer, almost mat, of older pine needles. He was able to remove the vast majority of it. I had rocks in my back yard again! He used a canvas covered suction to remove it and it worked well. He cleaned up and halled away after he was done. Hard worker and on time. Very nice Would hire his services again."

"I've had this company do a number of jobs for me such as trim the bushes, blow the leaves from my yard, and removed a large branch that fell from my tree. Everything is cleaned up with no debris left behind. They are always polite and positive. The best parts are when he gives you a quote it's honest and it doesn't cost more. Also, he is on time every time. That in its own right says a lot about this company."

Leaf Removal questions, answered by experts

The best disposal method for hazardous waste is to take it to a professional dumping facility that specializes in and accepts hazardous materials. These facilities will dispose of the materials in a way that is safe for both humans and the environment. If you don’t have access to a nearby facility, the best way to get rid of hazardous waste is to call a professional garbage removal company who handles disposing of hazardous materials .

The safest way to remove lead-based paint is by letting a professional take over. For most people, lead paint removal costs an average of $3,400. You should never attempt to dry sand old lead-based paint surfaces by hand. Most professionals use a paint stripper to do the job followed by wet scraping, but if you don’t want to remove lead paint, another option is to paint over it. Only consider this option if the old lead paint finish isn’t flaking or cracked.

No. Standard homeowners insurance does not cover any kind of lead remediation, focusing instead on sudden, unpreventable events like fires and theft. Many insurance companies will specifically exclude lead paint removal, since it tends to be an expensive and unavoidable project. The exception is if the lead surface is damaged during a covered event (like a flood) and homeowners insurance pays its replacement.

While the EPA provides guidelines for homeowners to perform DIY lead paint removal, it is a risky process and generally not recommended due to serious health risks and strict regulatory requirements. The process requires precise safety precautions, such as wearing a respirator and protective eyeglasses, creating sealed exits, and using a HEPA vacuum for cleanup. To ensure the job is done safely, effectively, and in compliance with regulations, it is highly recommended to hire a professional lead abatement company. Certified professionals have the necessary training, experience, and specialized equipment (like chemical strippers and HEPA vacuums) to handle and dispose of hazardous materials safely.

Hazardous waste is waste that poses a threat to human or environmental health. This generally refers to waste that is flammable, corrosive, toxic, or reactive. To confirm if the waste you need to remove is considered hazardous waste, contact your local hazardous waste facility.
