Beautiful, handcrafted concrete countertops designed to fit your culinary needs! Gorgeous countertops are maintenance free and last as long as your kitchen! We specialize in; bathroom countertops kitchen countertops colored concrete commercial countertops and concrete furniture. We specialize in custom inlays (designs, rocks, glass, pictures, graphics, etc.), custom colors and inlay of light fiber optics within your countertop! How long does it take? Between 10-14 days, depending on counter size and design Can I put a hot pan on the counter surface? A hot pan will not hurt the concrete but may discolor the sealer. If you need to put hot pans on your counter, metal pieces can be installed on the surface to protect the integrity of the countertop. How often do I have to reseal the countertop? Never. The Cheng concrete sealer that we use is a one time application. It doesn't wear off or need to be reapplied. What should I use to clean the countertops? Mild soap and water should be all you need to clean your surfaces. Other cleaners are ok as long as they are non-abrasive. Can I cut on the countertop? Yes you can, but rubbing your knives against the concrete surface may dull them. Are concrete countertops porous? Not once the sealer has been applied. Do concrete countertops have radon like granite? No. Radon comes from the ground naturally and may be found in high concentrations in granite. Concrete is made from several natural substances that do not contain radon. If you have any more questions feel free to contact us by phone at (907) 892-TOPS (8677) Please feel free to browse our website and enjoy the photos in the gallery. Decorative Concrete questions, answered by experts

To remove carpet padding glue from concrete, scrape away as much of the top layers as possible with a sharp-edged scraper or putty knife. You can be more aggressive on a concrete floor than on hardwood, so scrape off as much as possible. Then you can soak the area with hot water for a few minutes before continuing to scrape. If there is still glue left behind, use a solvent that is made to remove adhesives and apply it to the area. Then scrape the rest of the glue off.

Fiber concrete can be a good option for a residential driveway that will hold up standard passenger cars. The fibers provide increased flexion over a rebar-reinforced concrete driveway, so you’re less likely to see surface cracks. For driveways that need to hold commercial vehicles or multiple vehicles, rebar reinforcement is a better option. Ask a concrete driveway company near you which is the best option for your situation.

Sidewalks are concrete, not cement. Cement is merely an ingredient of concrete. To pour a sidewalk, driveway, or patio, you need to form the right mixture of concrete using cement, aggregates, and water. Pouring concrete requires special tools such as a concrete mixer, compactor, screeds, and floats. Unless you're pouring a small area, it's best to hire a concrete pro for a sidewalk or driveway project.

Besides natural alternatives that are entirely safe for concrete driveways, magnesium chloride and potassium chloride are salt-based ice melts that are mostly safe for concrete driveways. Calcium chloride is also a popular choice that’s fast-acting and less corrosive.

Clean with a damp mop and reseal every few years to protect the surface and enhance appearance.
