  • Resnick Roofing & Contracting, LLC
Resnick Roofing and Contracting did a fantastic job which was completed in one day (originally scheduled for 2 days). Cleaned up everything. The new roof looks great. The price was competitive with other roofers in our area (Hampton Twp). The roof is covered by an excellent warranty for many years to come. Roofers and staff were very professional and responsive. I would highly recommend Resnick Roofing and Contracting and would definitely use them again

  • AMC Construction and Remodeling LLC
We needed our roof changed and took estimates from few contractors. AMC provided us the best estimate and were very flexible in scheduling the job. Their team were prompt and completed the job professionally. They cleaned up very well after the job was completed and walked around the house 2-3 times to make sure no nails or stuff were left behind. The roof looks real good. Drew and Nick (their supervisor) were very nice to talk to

  • Resnick Roofing & Contracting, LLC
There were unforseen delays due to weather, but the job was reasonably priced and well done. Holzer Resnick is great at communication - followup, invoicing, texting. We plan to use them in the future for window and siding needs. They replaced our roof two years ago and we are very happy with that job as well

  • AMC Construction and Remodeling LLC
Really please with the job completed by Drew and his team. They removed a large slate roof and replaced with shingles. Results looks great. Drew was great to work with and has a highly professional and experienced team. Communication was great, job completed on time, impressive clean-up and care for our home and yard. Can give them my highest recommendation without any reservation

  • Meredith Home Improvement
Zack showed up as scheduled. Provided a fair quote. We have used Meredith Contractors before. They are reputable, show up as scheduled, and do great work.

  • EAS Roofing
EAS Roofing was great from the initial estimate all the way through the install process. My project manager Justin kept us informed and provided us photos along the way. The whole install was finished in 1 day!!! I was amazed at how hard everyone worked. I have and will continue to refer them to friends and family

  • New Look Home Exteriors
We recently had a new roof and new gutters installed by New Look, and they did a terrific job. During the sales phase, Mossimo and Armando walked me through all of my options in detail, helping educate me every step of the way. Markos and his crew did a great job under difficult circumstances -- my roof is very steep and has a number of dormers -- and cold weather. Jake was very professional and responsive throughout. Would definitely recommend

  • Meredith Home Improvement
MHI did an excellent job with my roof. They were all very professional and courteous. I was even able to have it installed while I was on vacation. The team sent pictures and texted me updates. The roof and gutters all look great. As a bonus, the prices were the best of the three quotes I received from various companies

  • The Big Fish Contracting Company
Because the roofing tiles on my father's home were asbestos, it was quite difficult to find a company who was able to remove and dispose of the tiles since asbestos is considered a hazardous material. The roofer I had used for my house wasn't certified for asbestos. I found Big Fish after doing a "google search". When I submitted an on-line request for a quote, they got back to me very quickly and arranged for someone to go to my father's to look at the roof right away. A drone was used to take a series of photographs - both closeup views and long shots. Those images were sent to me and clearly showed the various "trouble" areas. Along with the thirty plus photographs emailed was a detailed explanation of what all was entailed in order to do the entire roofing job. An estimated total cost was provided. (This had to be estimated because lumber was required to replace water damaged areas, and until the old tiles were up, they couldn't say with certainty how much lumber was needed.) The Big Fish price was reasonable for the job needing done. A representative from Big Fish telephoned to go over the quote with me and answer any questions I may have had. Later, a question DID occur to me and I had contact information for the rep from Big Fish. I was able to get in touch, and he replied right away. This was a bonus... having direct access. One other roofer I contacted was not so easy to communicate with during the quote process, and in fact changed the time for their representative's visit after I had set everything up, creating somewhat of a problem. Basically, with Big Fish everything was able to be handled via on-line and telephone, even the selection of the new roofing shingles. This was very helpful as I work, and would have had to drive over to my father's house otherwise. When Big Fish did arrive to do the roof, the process went smoothly. The crew began around 9:00 am and the whole job was done before 5:00 pm... the house, the front porch roof and the smaller back porch roof. Mid-day, photos were sent showing their progress. Once the job was completed, the workers went inside and showed all the different pictures to my elderly father -- who is wheelchair bound. He was thrilled. When the crew was talking with my father they were very patient, polite and respectful, listening to some of his WWII stories along with his comments about the roof. My sister has seen the new roof and says it looks great. We are all very pleased

  • RMR Roofing & Contracting
After having ongoing leaks since I moved into my house 19 years ago and going through 3 flashings and a brand new roof plus other repairs in between, I wasn't confident that the water seeping into my ceiling around the chimney area could ever be fixed. That was until I called Tony from RMR Roofing. He called me back promptly and came out the same day to look at my roof. He was able to determine that the flashing was poorly installed and recommended a new flashing as well as a chimney cricket since my chimney is over 30 inches wide and sits in the front of the house on the downslope of the roof. Tony and his crew were able to come out within a week and did everything we talked about. He took photos of the work and you could tell it was professional and precise. I waited to write a review to see if in time and many rains it would hold up. It has been about 2 months and I'm happy to report there is no water seeping through....finally!! I highly recommend this company and would not hesitate to call again. Thankyou RMR

Understanding roof repair costs

The average cost for a replacement roof with asphalt shingles can run from $8,700 to $22,000. The major deciding factor in pricing is the size of the roof and home. More expansive roofs are more expensive. Where your home is located also impacts the cost of roof replacement. Costs in some areas are less than they are in others.

Shingles made from asphalt are among the least costly roofing materials, but many folks love the look of alternatives such as metal, wood shake, or stone. These kinds of roofs can vary from $24,400 to $50,000.

If you're contemplating conserving cash by having your roof fixed, you may be interested in median costs for such jobs. Total costs may run as much as $2,050 or more depending on the parameters of the project.
