Brent was very responsive and quick on providing a bid. His bid was competitive and fair. He started the job 3 weeks ahead of schedule (which was great) because I wanted the job complete before November. The job was complete on the 2nd of October. His team completed the job on time and was professional throughout the process. Brent communicated very well throughout the entire process. I would hire him again and highly recommend him for your roofing needs. Thanks Brent!

Completed part of roof repair in November 2014--left scaffle up and equipment (5 mo.)
Continued work in April 2015.
September returned to look at job after I called with complaints. Promised to come back and complete/correct work.
Leak above skylight just got worse--Brent Orr (owner) was contacted by phone, email and letters but has not responded.
Leak continues to affect interior ceiling drywall. (Also did not get 5% discount as listed in Angie's List and asked for.)

"[Member Name Removed] had a roof that was put on wrong not just what I repaired the entire roof was put on wrong and I informed [Member Name Removed] of this. He insisted that I only repair the five dormers and the skylight. I gave him an estimate for the 5 dormers and did not guarantee any other work besides what I had done. The other contractor had all the valleys done wrong so they took in the water instead of shedding it away. This resulted in the wood rotting on all the dormers. I restored them to original condition and fixed the leak in the skylight. I warned [Member Name Removed] several times that other problems could occur, because as I did the work I noticed that more and more stuff was wrong. I had all the leaks repaired when I completed the job, but like I said another leak appeared and I am sure that the work the other contractor did will pose more problems in the future. I actually went ahead and did some extras for [Member Name Removed] putting copper screen around the, I don't even know what to call it, extra roof on top that the other contractor added. [Member Name Removed] is going after the wrong person I can see why he is frustrated because the roof leaked from day one and ruined the dormers. None of this has anything to do with the work I did. [Member Name Removed] and his wife actually gave me a $200.00 tip before I left then I never heard anything for 6 months. You can read my other reviews they speak for themselves. K.O. Roofing and Sheet Metal does quality work unlike the first contractor that is basically ruining Roys home."

KO Roofing removed the old felt roof, put 0.5" Celotex board down and finished with the rubber membrane, 0.060" Firestone. They also replaced a skylight (which we provided) and sealed the rubber membrane against it. All drip edges were replaced as well.

Brent and his crew replaced the roof on our garage last fall, everything went well. This spring we decided to replace the roof on the house and the only company we called was KO Roofing. They did a great job on both house and roof and completed everything when expected.

KO Roofing did an excellent job re-roofing my old house. All of the fascia wood needed replaced and some of wood roofing needed replaced. Brent, the owner of KO Roofing is a super nice guy and easy to work with. The price seemed fair and they did a good job of cleaning up the work site. These guys stay busy for a reason, so call now to schedule the work.

We took the three old roofs off and replaced a lot of wood around the parameter and on the roof itself. We also built a new gutter system to remove all the water. The job turned out nice. I always like to see the before and after on a job like this. We go in and the building or house looks like it needs condemned and when we leave it looks like brand new. Thanks again."

The entire crew were very nice and polite. The job was done well and in a timely fashion. Clean up was excellent. I was very surprised at how fast the job was done and happier with the results. Any cost is big cost, but to be worry free is priceless. No leaks.

K & O Roofing did a great job of replacing a very old roof on my house. Brent Orr patiently answered all my questions and gave me addresses to houses where he'd completed jobs so I could check them out and be satisfied with the shingle color. The job required extra wood to replace spots where the shingles had been worn down. Brent and his team worked tirelessly to get the job done as soon as possible. And they were meticulous about cleaning up each day. Highly recommended.

Brent and his crew did a very good job replacing our roof. We got a couple quotes and Brent was very honest and, we felt, priced the job fairly. I was sold on this company as our provider when Brent walked me around the house and showed me all the detail work that he and his team were going to make right. It is hard to find people, in any line of work, that care about the details as if they were working on their own home.
This company did all the little things that made me feel as though we were getting a great value for the money. They used top quality lifetime warranty Owens Corning shingles, not the 25 year three tab junk shingles that most other roofers were quoting. They also used ¾ inch plywood rather than saving a couple bucks and using ½ inch plywood. The work was done very professionally and quickly. They even cleaned out the gutters for us. KO Roofing left the area around my home spotless. No nails for the kids to step on and no debris in the bushes. We are very happy with the quality of the work and would highly recommend Brent and KO Roofing and Sheet Metal.

Every day when I came home there was not one shingle from the old roof or loose paper anywhere to be found. They were so neat on the second day I asked him if he was taking off the old shingles and he said that they carried them away everyday that did not like trash left around the job.
The other contractor that I hired to do the siding, soffit and fascia said that they were doing an excellent job.

The removal of the old roof and the putting on of the new roof went very well. The workers (which included the owner) never stopped working well they were there, very dedicated to what they were doing. They also used high-quality materials.

it went wonderful. this guy is someone that is more interested in helping people than making a buck. he and his crew were on time and very professional. on more than one occasion my wife went out to give out cold drinks and they didn't even want to take them or stop working. when they were through they cleaned EVERYTHING up, which was a relief to my wife. she has a large rock garden right by the house and was worried about cleaning up stuff from between all the rocks. they did it all.
we would HIGHLY recommend them for their fast and reasonable service. I wish all business transactions worked as well as this one!

We have tried for over 2 years to find someone who could seal the leaks in our tin roof. Most roofers are not familiar with tin roofs or would not take the job because of the pitch of a slippery tin roof. One did accept the job, worked on the roof, but within months it was leaking again where the vents cut through the roof. We were delighted to find K & O on Angie's List. They came out as soon as we called, were very familiar with our type of roof and the proper sealing technique. The arrived exactly when they said they would and did all the work in one day.
We also needed a whole side of the house's gutter replaced where the snow guards (Which were ALSO not attached properly because they were installed by someone not familiar with tin roofs) had fallen off and the snow melt pulled the gutter away. Previously the gutters were sections screwed together which leaked at every joint. K & O fabricated a single gutter the whole length of the house right here and installed it. It looks soooo much better.
VERY positive experience with K & O. Not cheap, but worth the money if we don't have to keep having it done every year!!

I had a large section of shingles come off my roof and Brent came out the same day to give an estimate. I wasn't home at the time and he took it upon himself to put some caulking on the roof to temporarily keep any water from leaking in which was very nice of him. He provided me with an estimate and was able to come out and fix it the next day. He also let us know that the previous installer did not put in enough gutter hangers and fixed that for us too. He was very responsive and took the time to explain the problem with our roof and answer all of my questions. I'm happy with the work he did and the amount charged seemed fair. I definitely recommend this company.

My recently purchased house had been sitting empty for some time, had a spot on the roof where shingles were missing, and I wasn't sure the roof was completely keeping water out. I called K.O., told Brent about my situation and he came out the next day to take a look. Being that this was early February and there was still some snow on the roof, we walked around the house and Brent did an evaluation from the ground explaining to me the issues he was seeing, end even took the time to look inside the house at some existing water damage in order to get a complete understanding of the situation. He quoted me one price to fix the missing shingles, and then an "up to this amount" estimate to inspect the roof and fix any problems he found.
Once the roof was clear of snow, Brent came back out promptly and did the repairs - which I really appreciated since at the time there was only a one day window between the snow and the rain where this was possible. He replaced the shingles with a perfect match, did the repairs as promised... then charged me 20% LESS than his estimate!
Not being able to see the entire roof or really evaluate it myself, finding someone like Brent who gave me an honest evaluation/estimate is priceless, and I think the final cost coming in under his estimate shows his integrity. When I replace my roof down the road, I will definitely call K.O.

Everything went very well. I had hail damage and was looking for someone to replace the roof. I got 4 estimates. KO roofing was one of two of the most reasonable ones. The reason that I went with KO was that Brent was very polite and informative about what needed to be done. The job was delayed a week because of the rain from Hurricane Sandy, but Brent was very responsive about getting the job done as soon as possible. The crew was very efficient and finished the job quickly. They also cleaned everything up perfectly. The price of the job was exactly what the estimate was - no surporises. I plan on having them come back next year to replace the siding on the house. I would highly recommend them to anyone.

I got someone to come out to view the job the same day I called and got the quote right away. Despite a busy schedule they got me in before bad weather hit, and showed up exactly when they promised. The crew was very punctual, respectful, and did a great job. They even did a few extras, repairing some bad wood, replacing a missing piece of fascia, and roofing a small wishing well. I would definitely use them again
