They were reliable, efficient, and did a great job.

It’s recurring so it hasn’t gone well. We called them to fix the same problem 2 or 3 times. It’s leaking again. I called and she told me it’s an old slate roof. I’ve got news for you: most roofs are old. No one from Josowitz ever suggested a new roof. They just kept taking our money for over 19 years. They used to stand behind their work when Steve Josowitz owned the business. Since he sold it, the quality of the work and the customer service have gone downhill.

Very well. Good communications helped, with owner and office manager. Good follow up when I asked that they modify the flashing after it was installed.

We had a chronic leak around the chimney which they fixed. It is a tricky roof with lots of angles. They removed a double layer of shingles, removed rotted wood around the leak, and used high quality materials. They did a great job and communicated well with me as we worked out scheduling both the estimate and the repair.

They had to remove a double layer of shingles, remove deteriorated wood from where it had been leaking, and used high-quality materials.

It went great. All other roofers that gave me an estimate indicated that I needed a new rubber roof and after Josowitz inspected my roof they determined that all I needed was my seams to be resealed with an overlay of new seam tape.

As always, excellent job, done promptly and professionally.

What I said above. Highly professional. Punctual. High quality work. Very fair price. Good people doing great work. We've used Josowitz over the years for all of our roofing and gutter needs. They come out annually and replace dried out slate shingles, check the condition of our gutters and resell the flat tin roofs. One note of warning: they are in HIGH demand so call them early to schedule a service. We tried several well-known roofing companies early on, but have worked only with Josowitz for the last decade.

I was referred to Josowitz roofing through the Healey Company as their calendar was full and my job was small in nature.  Terry from Josowitz Roofing called me and came out to discuss the job shortly after the referral was made.  Terry is a super nice guy and open and honest about the condition of my roof and the options available to me for the gutter that was leaking into the house.  I had three previous estimates for the repair work, and all of the other guys told me "I HAD to replace the entire roof"... Terry surveyed the entire roof and said that really a repair job was in order as the majority of the roof was in good shape.  I was truly refreshing to get some straight talk and an honest estimate without upselling. 

Julie sent over the estimate a couple of days later and I got on their calendar to perform the work ~ mid November.

Around the 1st of November I noticed that the fallen shingles (I kept them on my picnic table in the back) were 'missing' and asked my wife if she knew what happened to them... she didn't... and I then noticed that the roof was fixed, ahead of schedule!!

The Josowitz roof fairies came, did their thing, cleaned up, and vanished... all while I was at work and didn't need to do anything.

Haven't had an issue since, and the repair work looks really solid.

Returned my calls promptly and discussed in advance what needed be done to stop the leaking from our skylights.

He patched the addition to the house, around the skylight. He caught it early and patched it. They have very good service. The pricing is reasonable. It saved us alot of water damage, I'm sure. He is very experienced and fair.
