Planet Roof

I got an estimate from the Planet Roof website for $8,782. I called them and scheduled the free in-person estimate to lock everything in. In person I was given a bid of $19K. During the sales presentation I showed the salesperson their website. They followed up a few days later with a modified bid of $12K.

Someone from Planet Roof came to my parents' house to give them an estimate for a roof (shingle) replacement (1,900 sf). After spending over an hour looking around, the gentleman gave my dad an estimate for $37,000! After my dad declined, he then dropped his estimate 2 more times and said the lowest he can go is $14,000. When my dad asked why he didn't start that low, he replied "well some people will pay the $37,000". He also went on to tell my dad how this was an investment, and he wouldn't get anything lower (keep in mind my dad is a disabled senior on a fixed income). When my dad told him he already received a quote from another company for $8,500 - he was followed by questions of who was that cheap and asked why my dad would even have him come out (when every company should know that most people would/should get multiple estimates). Do NOT recommend this company!

Nathan Link was very professional and on time for the scheduled estimate. We reviewed the whole job from start to finish where he showed me the different material that would be used. The job ran smoothly day of and we had no issues. I highly recommend them for any roofing/siding job.

Pete is very nice. However, he sold me skylights they couldn’t install. Made me goto a cheaper model that ultimately leaked and caused thousands of dollars in damage. I had to call another contractor and have them replace the skylights with the ones they said they couldn’t install. This cost me another 4K. Do not let them install skylights they will leak!!!

Excellent experience with Planet Roof! Adam was straightforward & responsive. Manny managed a very hardworking crew. John paid a house call to pick up our deposit to make it easier for us. Shane & Megan were helpful & available. Overall, Planet Roof was professional, prompt, courteous, & affordable! Definitely recommend!!
