"This roofing company is PHENOMENAL!!! They greatly exceeded my expectations! I got a few quotes from other roofing companies and RMR roofing literally did it for half the price, I made the initial deposit and the next morning they were working until they finished! Generally, the term “rolled roofing” refers to MSR (mineral surface roll) roofing. This type of roofing is similar to asphalt shingles but comes in a roll that’s unraveled and installed over your roof deck. There are many types of rolled roofing, including TPO, EPDM, and modified bitumen roofing (aka torch down roofing).

Some homes, like those with flat roofs, may not have eaves at all. Some contemporary-style homes also lack eaves, although many may have abbreviated eaves to divert water and protect the walls and foundation. Homes without eaves often have specific types of gutters affixed directly to the edge of the roof to provide adequate drainage.

Roof blistering and hail damage are different in their physical appearance. Blistering, often caused by inadequate ventilation, low-quality material, and improper installation, looks like large, irregular bubbles popping out of your roof. Meanwhile, hail damage is usually circular or oval dents entering your roof and often follows the same path as the hail storm.

Most traditional lenders will not loan against a house with a leaking roof, and some lenders won’t lend against a home with a roof near the end of its lifespan.
