I hired WM Prescott to repair a leak on my roof. After the repair the roof was still leaking. They returned to fix the leak. They removed the shingles above the leak, and that was it. It is still leaking. They will not provide any photos of there work. I had a company inspect there job and here is a few things he wrote about it: "Wall flashing was pieced into place and is also caulked excessively in place. Shingles in the affected area are not sealed. New shingles often do not seal to old shingles and as a result water intrusion is occurring Step flashing has been installed incorrectly. I do believe the workmanship is very poor and the skill of the repair crew to be very low. This was a rush project by someone who did not know what they were doing. I believe they have caused multiple issues and have lowered the value of the owners home." The job they did was horrendous. I was charged $1760 for them to basically nothing. I will add photos.

Chris, John, Ted and many others did a great job on this project. They are very knowledgeable in the field of installation of asphalt shingle roofs (along with ancillaries such as roof vents and skylights). The installation fixed several issues that were evident with the the old roof, and the GAF architectural shingles look great. Very nice job fabricating larger section aluminum box gutters and downspouts to replace the standard profile gutters which were not in the best of repair. These matched gutters we had installed on an addition. The front porch was by no means a standard design, incorporating a standing seam metal roof which extended from the peak of the existing roof, and used a cantilever support design to support the part which extended out from the house. The metal roof sections were custom roll formed to match the same roof that was on the addition and installation was a very high standard (much better than what was done by different contractor on the addition). Also, the job involved installation of Corten siding which we supplied. Chris and John did a great job working with the architect, building inspections, and other issues that came up during the course of construction. They also worked great with the concrete contractor (Decterra, also highly recommended). Overall, everything has held up perfectly in the year since the job was completed. Great family company to work with, especially on roofing projects which involve more than just replacing the shingles, especially knowledgeable on fabrication and installation of metal roofs.

Wonderful - we had Prescott come out to inspect, quote us for repairs after we had another company replace our roof almost 3 years ago. We have had water issues ever since then. Our project was covered under the manufacturers warranty, but the crew and staff were courteous and professional. I highly recommend!

Prescott gave me a honest estimate of when they could send someone to do an estimate and when they could replace the roof. Once work was scheduled they arrived on time, did an excellent job and cleaned up. Very professional.

Everything went well from start to finish. First I called for an estimate and they came when they said they would. A detailed written estimate was then provided a few days later. Once we decided to hire them, they gave us a projected date to begin the work. In fact they were able to start working sooner than originally suggested. They completed the job over three consecutive days. Two men did the work- both were friendly, respectful, and professional. When they were finished, they cleaned up thoroughly. The roof looks great and we have not had any problems with their work. Prescott's price was slightly more than a few other estimates we got, but their professionalism persuaded us to choose them for this job. I wish all contractors would manage their business the way Prescott does. I can highly recommend this company.

The crew arrived & began work immediately. They were courteous & thorough cleaning up as they worked. It is hard to say the price was reasonable since there aren't many companies who work on slate roofs today.

They were neat, respectful and professional in every sense of the word. They even recommended a good concrete contractor to do the adjacent sidewalk for us.

These guys are super busy, and it's occasionally dififcult to get small projects slotted in. Recognizing I'd waited a while for the work to get done and the possibility of some water damage should we get a truly rough winter, the team came out the day after Christmas to do the work due to a warm front. Some additional work needed to wait until spring, and when I wasn't clear on the scope, the owner came out and met me in order to walk me through my options.

It took a week or so for someone to respond to my initial service call, but once they did, Prescott was on it with a quick, reasonable estimate, and moved me up in their schedule to beat an incoming storm. They also helped me with a fallen roof tile and opening a stuck window while they had their ladders up, no charge. The first attempt to patch the leak didn't take so they came out again right away and repaired it no additional charge. Great company, and I've recommended them to my neighbors.

I can't say enough positive words for them. We had a horrible experience with another company and they had botched 3 different tries to fix our issue. We started to take off some paneling to repair some boards from a minor leak. When the contractor came and removed the boards, the entire room had to be re-framed, re-insulated due to water damage and mold. We did the room repairs on our own, but we needed to make sure when the gutters were done they were done right. A friend highly recommended Prescott. And they stepped up! From the time I called the office to make an appointment, and spoke with Heather (who is wonderful) to them coming out they were so happy that someone had referred them. They've been in business for 110 years, family run. Chris came out and did the estimate, and was very patient and kind. We decided to use their services. When the installer came out, during their busiest time of year, they did their best to move us up when they saw us living in our tiny basement. The installer wanted us to be happy and make sure things went well. John and his team came through. They couldn't have been more pleasant. The finished product is perfect. They even sent someone back no problem to install our rain barrels later on since they were on back order. It has been wonderful and even with all the rain we've gotten the room is dry! We've referred them to our daughter.

These guys came out and really knocked it out of the park. I feel like they have my interests at heart and are treating me like a partner instead of a customer. They did an excellent job! Never pushed to do anything and even suggested a timeframe for doing the things that I wanted to get done, but wasn't sure how much of a priority they were.
