  • Dog Guard Ohio
    5.0
After taking in 2 of my Uncle’s dogs after his unexpected passing, we were in need some sort of fencing solution since our new additions were coming from sunny AZ where they had access to the outdoors majority of the day. After asking a community group on fb for recommendations, Dog Guard came strongly recommended. I was sold after one conversation with Heather. She knows her product. They were understanding and patient with our needs and got the ball rolling in no time. Chelsea was fantastic to train with and knew how to work with dogs coming from abuse in their past. So far the dogs are loving their new found freedom and just in time for the warm weather where they can sun-bathe to their heart’s content

Donnell came out and provided an estimate and he was able to get started on the project quickly. His team worked fast and they were only delayed because of the weather. We’ve already received quite a few compliments on our new fence and we love the value it adds to our home. Donnel was very attentive and followed up to ensure that we were completely satisfied with our fence and immediately addressed any of our questions or concerns. We would definitely recommend Best Rate Fence for any of our future needs

  • Little Rock Home Repair
    5.0
We have an extensive full home remodeling project going on. Surprisingly, getting a fence constructed has been our biggest pain. After trying several other companies who did not return phone calls, we turned to Little Rock from a family referral. Our neighborhood was resistant to a fence and needed to be approved by the HOA and then put to a vote by the neighbors. David did a great job in providing a design and supporting materials to help get the fence approved. We then ran into zoning issues, and rude neighbors. David & Caity handled everything with class and patience. We are thrilled with the finished product. A+ experience

  • Barski Hardscaping
    5.0
We hired Barski Hardscaping after meeting with several other companies in person. He not only listened to our end goal dream backyard but he gave us amazing suggestions and ideas. Brandon Barski is not just a contractor but a true craftsman. We started with a complete gut of our current wood deck and fence. We replaced it with a vinyl fence and top end composite decking with lighting and benches that also function as storage. Then we got started on a new paver patio, kitchen counter space with granite and beautiful rock fountain. Along the way we added pavers to extend the driveway and a new front stone walk up. I am a very particular person and somewhat of a perfectionist. Brandon made this whole outdoor renovation so easy! He gave me many MANY options and samples when I was unsure of products or colors. We were even invited to see one of Brandon’s previous completed backyards to see materials and features. The final results were in a word, AMAZING! We have a modern and relaxing outdoor space. From start to finish Brandon worked tirelessly to ensure our dreams were brought to reality. We cannot recommend Brandon Barski enough. You will not be disappointed

Fencing FAQ

  1. How much does it cost to install a fence?

Answer: The average cost to install a fence is $2,600. A variety of factors will impact the overall cost of fencing installation, such as the length of the fence, the materials you choose, and local labor costs. Fencing projects using the lowest cost materials and with lower labor costs can cost as little as $1 to $6 per linear foot, while projects using the highest cost materials and with higher labor costs may be as high as $15 to $45.

  2. Do I need a permit to build a fence around a yard?

Answer: Whether you’ll need a permit to build a fence around your yard will depend on your city or county's local codes. Many metropolitan and suburban areas require a permit to install most fencing, but they may not for fences situated behind a house as opposed to in front of it or fences that don’t run within a certain distance of the road. To find out if you’ll need a permit to fence your yard, reach out directly to your local government office.

  3. What is the cheapest fence to install?

Answer: The cheapest fencing to install is chain-link fencing. Chain-link fencing is typically cheaper than other fence types because the materials cost less, and installation is generally quicker and easier than other options. Chain-link fencing is affordable, easy to install, and low maintenance. However, it’s usually considered less secure than other options and doesn’t increase resale value as much as fences made of different materials.

  4. Is a wood or vinyl fence cheaper?

Answer: Wood fences are generally cheaper than the cost of vinyl fences. While the cost of materials for wood and vinyl fences is usually very similar, the labor cost associated with installing a vinyl fence is higher. Wood fencing is also easier to install than vinyl fencing, making it possible to save money by making wood fence installation a DIY project. It’s also possible to DIY install a vinyl fence.

  5. What is the life expectancy of a vinyl fence?

Answer: Vinyl fencing can be expected to last between 10 and 30 years. Vinyl fencing is generally low maintenance, but proper care will ensure it lasts as long as possible. Its long life span and high return on investment make vinyl fencing a popular option for many homeowners.

  6. What type of fence adds to the property value?

Answer: Installing quality fencing, no matter the fence type, will generally add value to your property. In general, fences made of longer-lasting, lower-maintenance, and more attractive materials—like wrought-iron, composite, or vinyl—add more value to a property than fences made of lower-cost or less attractive materials, like chain-link. To ensure your fencing adds as much value to your home as possible, be sure it’s properly permitted, approved by your homeowners association (if you have one), and installed properly.
