They showed up when promised and did exactly as contracted. Very respectful of our, and our neighbor's, property. Excellent clean up after the job was completed. Nice job all around.

If you want high quality and expert work, spotless clean up, consideration and respect for your opinions and requests....then,...American Fence is the place you want to do business with....The crew worked efficiently, quietly and with a lot of knowledge...there was not a speck of dirt on my driveway or on my neighbor's whose side my fence touches.....it was a big job (to me ) and it was done to my total satisfaction....they were worth every penny I paid them....you won't be sorry if they install your fence...

We fenced in our mostly wooded backyard with over 500 feet of galvanized chain link fencing. We installed ornamental aluminum fencing closer to the house. There were a number of factors that set American Fence apart from other contractors. They provided all the details about the quality of the materials they planned to use right on the estimate, and they did not use the cheapest materials. Other contractors left the technical details out like the gauge of the posts and it was not until I asked questions that I learned they were using the cheapest materials. American Fence took the time to listen to what I wanted, and made good recommendations for what met my needs. One contractor that I was ready to hire did not tell me that they were not planning to use concrete to secure the posts in the woods until I was ready to sign the contract. They claimed it would be better to just drive longer posts deeper into the ground. My research found that it would only be better for them because it would be much less work and they could install the chain link the same day they sunk the posts. American Fence did not try to take any shortcuts, and they did a great job securing all the posts with concrete. My fence is level and straight, and I am very pleased with the work. The owner worked with city to secure the necessary license and permit. The installation crew was very professional and gave me some additional advice about fencing. I would definitely recommend working with this company if you are looking to have a fence installed.

Overall, went well. They had the cedar fence option, which no one else seemed to have. Service was performed as indicated - wait was about a month or so (as we were told). Service was performed properly and clean-up was great. Only downside - called them back a month later to add another 8 ft section after the neighbor removed their fence. Due to minimum job amounts, the cost was almost 1/3 of the entire first fence job, which was crazy for 8 ft of fence. Note: this was never mentioned to me when I asked them upon the initial visit about the possibility of adding an additional 8 ft. section - they said they could do it, but never said how crazy the pricing would be. However, overall I would highly recommend American Fence!!!

The sales representative was very knowledgeable, friendly and detailed accurate with the free estimate. The work was 8-9 weeks out from the date of the estimate. Work began within the 8th week and was completed within a week. No one was home during the work, however, I came home from work to a professional and clean job. Loved my gate!!

The crew of four were remarkable. They worked well together to get all posts leveled and set in concrete. After allowing the concrete to completely dry, they came back to finish the boards. The fence is beautiful and we are very pleased with the workmanship.

Wow! The team from American Fence were amazing. Extremely professional and friendly. The fence is beautiful red cedar and installed perfectly. The crew cleaned up daily and made sure everything was perfect and to our satisfaction. They did not miss a detail. The cost was extremely fair and the quality of work is outstanding. Very good with communication and answered all of our question. These people care about what they do!

Beyond satisfied with this company. After the tear down they made sure to put up a temporary fence to keep my 3 dogs in the yard. And, knowing that I have dogs they were back in 2 days to install the fence. Very accommodating. Even came back Immediately when I found a space my mini doxie could fit through.

I had recently adopted a very large dog that took me for walks several times a day (yes, HE took ME for walks).  As the weather got colder, I pictured myself being dragged down icy sidewalks by this small horse.  I realized I needed a fenced in yard, and I needed it FAST.  I called American Fence and asked that someone come out for an estimate as soon as possible.  Within a couple of days, a representative from American Fence came to my home to give me an estimate.  He was punctual, professional, polite, and knowledgeable.  I had always heard chain link fences were expensive, so I was very happy to learn it would cost me less than $1000.00.  They took a 1/3 deposit and started the process to secure a building permit.  Within a few days of the building permit being issued (there is a 10-day waiting period in my city), they called to say that they'd had a change in their work schedule for that day and asked  if they could come out to begin putting in posts. Of course, I said yes!  The two workmen who came to my home were friendly (even after my dog tried to take a chunk out of one of them) and expeditious.    Today, they finished the job and I am very very happy with the results.  The fence itself looks as good as a chain link fence can look and is sturdy.
My four-legged beast now has a yard to run around in and he seems thrilled, as well.  A tired dog is a good dog!
To summarize, I was very pleased with American Fence's responsiveness, professionalism, price, and quality.  I would highly recommend them.

Everything went very smoothly and professionally. Tom was very helpful during the initial estimate and design appointment and kindly helped us during the Architectural Design Board meeting. His crew was very professional and friendly during the installation. They worked efficiently and minimized the mess and cleaned up after themselves.  The fence turned out looking very good and is much less visible than I anticipated.  It should be a long-lasting deer fence. It has certainly kept the deer out so far (1 month.)  The whole experience with American Fence was quite pleasant; it's too bad I can't say the same about the city Architectural Review Board.

There was a bit of a wait because we signed up in October and the wait was until December.  However, when they started, they got it done in 2 days, which was great.  The people they sent out to do the work were all professional and the foreman asked for my input.  Dealing with the manger was nice and they also gave me an Angie's List discount.

The owner came out to take measurements and give me a quote one evening, which was helpful so that I did not have to take time off work. I received a quote before he left. The work began about a month later. They actually started the job sooner than I had anticipated so as to get the posts in before the first big snow storm of the season. I had a lot of overgrown shrubs around the property line that the crew took out, bundled and placed on the tree lawn per city requirements. It was a lot of work and I can't believe that they did it all. My yard is very big so the job took a few days, but after the initial day when I had to be home to give a verbal sign off for where the posts would be placed, I didn't have to be home for the following days they were working. The entire crew was an exceptional group of men. They were all so professional and kind. My dog isn't a fan of strangers, but by the end of the job, he was running around the back yard with the team. I never thought a fence was something I would call "beautiful" but my fence really is beautiful! I am so pleased with the construction and the appearance. Plus, it is unstained cedar so my yard smells wonderful! I definitely will recommend American Fence to anyone who asks. I can't say enough good things about my experience!

I was very well pleased, they did an excellent job. When I called them they came out to give me an estimate. They asked a lot of questions which made me feel good about it. I did have to make a deposit of 1/3 of the price before they could start the work. I also checked them on the BBB and they had a good record. Because it was a small job they let me know it could actually be done sooner than originally estimated. The 2 men came out to do the job and they were very professional and I thought they understood the job very thoroughly. They even took some of the old fence in the back yard rather than waiting for the garbage pick up. I was very pleased, extremely pleased. I also recommended them to some other people.

.Block behind us lots are narrower and do not line up with our block.  A neighbor behind us had put up a 6' fence across the back of her property.  We wanted to finish the fence across our lot line for uniformity, a length of 25'.  American Fence gave us a competitive bid.  We were very pleased with their work and when our City Building Dept inspected the job after it was done they left a form in the door with "approved" checked and a handwritten "Good Job!".  
They did an excellent job keeping the fence within our lot line, and making a short jog to match up with the neighbor's.  
We would use them again.

The cost estimate, site survey, and the fence installation all went well, as expected.  The installers (crew) were punctual and very courteous.  The job was impressively done, well before my deadline, which was somewhat flexible, but nevertheless, this company seemed to press the elements to meet my needs.  I'm a happy customer and have no hesitation recommending them to others...
