Terrible. The fence was put up in early October, and as best as I can tell looks very nice. The swing gate was supposed to close against my garage but was installed in such a way that the gate only met the garage at the very top of the gate. The gap between the garage and the lower portion of the gate is wide enough for anyone to reach around and unlatch the gate from the other side. This is partly due to the fact that my garage is not completely level along the side that meets the gate, but I think that this should have been noticed by the installers when they planted the posts for the fence and gate. The installers came back (Oct 12) but could offer no solution other than to attach a piece of wood to the gate to close the gap. That was not acceptable in my opinion for a new gate. It took over a month(Nov 16) and 2 more phone calls before Rolen Bros even sent out someone to address my concerns and look at the gate. The person from Roland Bros was very pleasant and seemed to understand my concerns. We reached a compromise that I was satisfied with and he told me that they would be able to fix the gate very soon, weather permitting. However even though there was decent weather in mid to late December no one showed up and nobody from Rolen Bros ever called with any type of update. I finally called them again yesterday(12/27) after receiving an invoice in the mail, and was told that they would be coming today( 12/28). I sat home all day and again no one showed up or called. Rolen Bros does not return calls as promised and twice have not shown up on the day they said they would, without calling to let me know. Update: after no contact from Rolen Bros on Monday (12/31) or this morning (1/2/19) someone showed up while I was out shopping and attached an extra slat of wood to the back of the gate. However it is a different color wood than the swing gate. While the gate is now safe from entry from the back side, it looks awful considering it is a new gate . It is almost as if this company prefers/hopes that the homeowner not be at home while they work. I am sending them the final payment, just happy to be done with this disreputable company.

They were easy to deal with and friendly. The employee they sent out was friendly, helpful, he was true to his word when there was a problem with his equipment and he said he would be back first thing in the morning and he was. I would recommend them to anyone. If their employee has that kind of integrity, then this says a lot about who this company is.

They were AWESOME!!!! Did work before they said they would and the two guys were very professional and extremely nice. VERY HAPPY WITH THIS COMPANY!! I HIGHLY recommend them for any fencing needs.

Job performed on time.

They did a great job, and were completely professional, courteous and prompt. They came back several times to get the job finished, as rain had halted some of the installation. They also gave me a discount when I needed to add some vinyl lattice myself.

It was a little bit challenging to get the permits approved because of the historical district of Ohio City that we are in. Rolen pursued the permits with the city and didn't stop until they got everything approved. The day after approval they were at our house tearing out our old fence and installing the new posts for the new fence. We had a couple of challenges with our project because we have a large tree directly on our property line so they had to build the fence right up to the tree which will require adjustment over the years as the tree continues to grow. The final result is amazing. The quality of the fence is excellent and everything is incredibly tight.

Work performed in a reasonable time period after estimate.

Fence had been damaged during a windstorm. Company that installed the fence had transferred ownership, and the "new" company did not do repairs! WHAT!?!? Rolen Brothers was one of the only companies that would repair a fence they did not install. The work was performed in one day and the repairs match the existing fence perfectly. The two workmen that came out were very professional and very likable. They were respectful of my home and of my neighbor's property, and left everything neat and clean when they were done. Five year warranty on labor is a welcomed bonus.

They did a great job despite weather problems...in the course of 6 days it went from cold and rainy to warm and sunny, then to snow. I am so grateful they were able to complete the job before the really nasty weather came. The fence is beautiful, they did a fantastic job of cleaning up and and I got a lot more for my money than the quotes from other well-known fence companies. I am very, very pleased with the job!

The work was scheduled within 3 weeks and the crew showed up to put in the fence posts exactly on time, then took the measurements for all the panels and came back a week earlier than scheduled to install them. The put the dog fence up in cold, drizzly weather and did an excellent job on both fences. We will have them back in the Spring to erect the front property fence and a driveway gate, after we have the landscaping finished. The crew was a joy to work with.

These guys are great. they came when they said they would. they gave us a good price. they were very clear on what was going on and asked me several times for clarity of details. they are great. I would hire them again in a minute.

I've been using this company for years. John said he would be here at 5:00 to 5:30 and he was here about 5 o'clock and took measurement and put in a post. I was given a copy of contract. It rained and the job got delayed then they came back on Wednesday June 28, 2017 to do some work and work was finally finished. It was excellent and I would definitely hire them again and they are highly recommended.

I was doubtful. The yard slopes. The space was tight. I wanted the fence to match. But when I finally saw the fence? I loved it. It looked JUST like I imagined it to.

Excellent, very prompt and professional

It went very well with Rolen. We had an unexpected problem. Our neighbors called the cops when they were out there, claiming they were stealing their old chain-link fence. We had proof everything was on our property, & legal. Rolen even followed up with the cops, in case they were called again. We asked them to save the old fence for them, so they were careful not to totally destroy it. They were very professional, & friendly. (They did run over our metal window well, & cracked the asphalt with their truck. They fixed it .)

I had previously hired Rolen Brothers Fence to install 2 small sections of fence and 2 gates to complete enclosure of the back yard and I was very happy with the work they did. So when the back board-on-board fence began to deteriorate, I called them for an estimate. The lady I talked to gave me a rough estimate on the phone based on the length of the fence. Based on that estimate I asked for a final estimate. We agreed on a time for an estimator to come and look at the fence and give me a written estimate. John came (07/12/16) at the agreed time looked at the fence and gave me a written estimate. I then made an appointment to have the fence replaced. Tim and Ricky came to the house at the appointed time and began the fence replacement. They were pleasant to deal with and were competent in doing the work. The turned out to be an unforeseen problem linking the fence to a fence of one of my neighbors and I was so glad that Tim helped me determine a solution. After getting agreement with the neighbors, the fence work continued without interruption. The first day they completed taking down the old fence and got about half of the post holes dug. They returned the next day and finished digging the post holes, got the city inspector’s approval and began setting the posts on concrete. They began hauling away the old fence. The next day they returned and finished cementing the posts and hauled away the remainder of the old fence. They then had to let the concrete cure for 78 hours. After the concrete cured, they returned for 2 days and finished installing the fence. I am very satisfied with the fence. I wouldn’t hesitate to recommend them and, if needed, I would use them again.
