"They are a nice provider. I talked to them on the phone for about 30 minutes and they sent some samples. We were able to get a discount on designer purchases but not useful on designing the space. Once we told them what we wanted, they were able to help purchase from the warehouse and save about $1,500. I think they became too busy with this big deal. You buy a ticket per room and we still actually have a couple left with this provider. After redesigning one room, we kind of ran out of steam and have not designed the other rooms. Overall this is a good service and it's a good concept. Whomever I spoke with, she was really nice. I would recommend this provider. This kind of service seems to be for people with time and knows exactly what they want. They are super helpful with the designer discount from the warehouse. They don't actual design your room which is slight flaw."

Upholstering questions, answered by experts

In Cheyenne, upholstering needs change as your home ages. Early years require protecting furniture from strong sun and dry air, often using UV-resistant fabrics. By 10-20 years, wind-driven dust and low humidity can cause fabric fading and leather cracking, especially on well-used pieces. After 20 years, most original upholstery benefits from full replacement with durable, weather-resistant materials designed for Cheyenne’s unique climate.

Helpful?

After upholstering projects in Cheyenne, keep all fabric warranties, care instructions, and upholsterer guarantees to help maintain your furniture in the dry, high-altitude climate. Save fire retardant certificates and UV protection ratings for insurance or HOA requirements. Store receipts, before-and-after photos, and a list of materials used for future claims or reference. Back up these records digitally to protect them from Cheyenne’s unpredictable weather.

Helpful?

New homeowners in Cheyenne should start with entryway furniture, using water-resistant, easy-clean fabrics to handle mud and dust. Next, focus on living room seating near windows, opting for fade-resistant upholstery to withstand strong sunlight. Outdoor furniture is another priority, with weatherproof materials for wind and temperature swings. Dining room chairs are a practical, beginner-friendly project that quickly refreshes your home’s style and comfort.

Helpful?

Completing upholstering projects in Cheyenne offers immediate benefits like improved comfort, fresher indoor air, and easier cleaning—especially important during dust storms and allergy season. Long-term, using climate-appropriate upholstery materials extends furniture life, helps maintain your home’s value, and supports sustainability. Well-chosen fabrics also add insulation during cold winters and protect the unique character of heritage furniture found in many Cheyenne homes.

Helpful?

For Cheyenne families, prioritize low-VOC, flame-retardant upholstery materials to address dry air and heating sources. Select washable, durable fabrics that resist dust, mud, and pet hair. For pets, choose scratch-resistant, easy-clean surfaces and non-toxic adhesives. Rounded corners and secure fastenings help prevent injuries during long indoor winters. Local pet experts in WY can suggest safe fabric treatments tailored to your household’s needs.
