"My technician, Lily, was right on time. It was her first time to my home and she was very friendly and informative. She explained what went wrong and also showed me how to maintain some things through my routine maintenance. My service call involved a charge as it was Service, labor plus Freon to be added to my unit and the outside unit's battery. Since I have a contract with McCrea, I was not charged for the part that was to be replaced on my unit. My house is slowly cooling down as it was 90 degrees inside my home when she arrived this morning. My house lost the air conditioning on the Fourth of July and on a very hot day. "AC Tech Aaron was highly knowledgeable, amicable and was able to solve an issue that previously caused ARS to replace a newly installed HVC system with another new system, however, Aaron was the one to solve the ongoing issue I had with both current and previous systems. The issue was, the AC simply was not efficient enough to cool my house, reason, the air filters were severely clogged. Solution: Aaron applied a commercial degreaser, then washed both filters, this dissolved an accumulation of over 10 years worth of gunk and soot like dirt. Thanks to Aaron, my AC now is finally running to its full capacity without compromising its efficiency or causing it to overheat or worse, break down. I would recommend ARS to at a minimum inspect and equally clean all AC filters as that would go a long way towards resulting in a far better AC/HVC performance with better efficiency.
