I contacted Quandt Plumbing to look at the problem and give me an estimate. The person took a look at the faucet, took it apart, put it back together and left. Never received a quote and just received a bill for the visit and labor.
The new faucet would not have been requried. What cost $135 turned out to be a maybe $70 valve recaulking job. Most aggravating is that Turek did not even care to call later to find out if 3rd attempt finally addressed the issue. This plumber does not seem to care. But all personnel was friendly.
This was a big job, with the creation of a new 3 by 5 foot shower, whirlpool tub, all new plumbing, fixtures, etc. They worked with us from the planning right through to the end. All sub-contractors arranged by them were professional and took pride in their craftsmanship. Our new bathroom...
