"The service provided by Daniel was beyond expectations. He was prompt answering any of my questions prior to scheduling, he arrived early, and he evening provided images of the spotless gutters during his cleaning. Some of the houses in my neighborhood can be in tight proximity of each other. I’m one of the “lucky” ones where the space between my neighbor’s house and my house is roughly about a yard and half. When I spoke to Daniel about my neighbor’s concern of accessing her roof, he was very considerate and creatively found a solution, accessing my adjacent gutters via a harness. Crisis averted! I would highly recommend Daniel’s services to anyone."

"Tony's son came to do the cleaning. He was very polite and did a great job cleaning the carpets and removing the stain I thought were permanent. The carpets look very clean and stain free. I would definitely use this service again!"

"I was happy with the work done by Housekeeping by Jodi.  There was a mix up on the original date of when we were to have the cleaning so my husband was unnecessarily late for work, but once I called Jodi, we were able to get it straightened out and rescheduled.  The house looked great after the cleaning!  They did especially good job on the bathrooms and kitchen.

"In addition doing a good job on removing stains from the chair, wall to wall carpeting was done for four rooms of average-to-small size, as well as a hallway and set of stairs. One carpet on a concrete basement floor had a stain that had come back after previous cleanings. It was explained to us by Advanced that this was probably due to moisture in the cement wicking back into the carpet and that the dry system might make this less likely, but with no promises. As of a month later, we've seen no return of the stain.

The Advanced person arrived early, as we were forewarned might happen, and worked efficiently while being there to answer our questions. We asked for that an old and deep stain on an area rug also be addressed, which had not been included in the original request, and that was done well for an additional charge of only $10 with better than expected results.

Buffing and Polishing questions, answered by experts

If you would rather use vinegar to clean the stone fireplace instead of dish soap, this mixture should work fine. Vinegar is slightly acidic, however, so it may etch some kinds of stone without quite a bit of diluting. For a stone fireplace, dilute it to about one cup of vinegar for every gallon of hot water. It’s a smart idea to test the diluted mixture in an inconspicuous area of the fireplace and watch for etching. You can use vinegar to clean quite a few different items around your home, and it’s especially good at removing stains.

Yes, professionals have the skills to restore historical or intricate masonry by respecting traditional techniques and materials. They address damage meticulously, preserving the original design while ensuring stability and longevity.

Like most stones, limestone should be sealed. Its porous nature makes it prone to staining from spills, and the iron in the stone can cause it to turn yellow when exposed to moisture or harsh chemicals. Proper sealing can help prevent these problems and protect the stone's appearance.

Common causes include impact, heat, and improper cleaning agents. Regular maintenance prevents major issues.

Acid can seriously damage granite countertops and lead to etching and erosion. This is why cleaning with vinegar isn’t recommended. Other acidic items that you should keep away from your granite countertops include:

  • Citrus

  • Acetone nail polish remover

  • Tomatoes

  • Ammonia

In addition, always steer clear of using bleach on or around your granite as it will degrade the countertop’s sealant quickly.
