"They did an excellent job. Stains were removed and the furniture and floors looked beautiful and smelled very good. They arrived within the window of time they would, communicated very well and did all of this within the time frame they had indicated. They got to it right after we toured the rooms they were cleaning. We added a few area rugs after they arrived and it was handled without any problem. We felt they were very trustworthy and would definately hire again."

"In addition doing a good job on removing stains from the chair, wall to wall carpeting was done for four rooms of average-to-small size, as well as a hallway and set of stairs. One carpet on a concrete basement floor had a stain that had come back after previous cleanings. It was explained to us by Advanced that this was probably due to moisture in the cement wicking back into the carpet and that the dry system might make this less likely, but with no promises. As of a month later, we've seen no return of the stain.

The Advanced person arrived early, as we were forewarned might happen, and worked efficiently while being there to answer our questions. We asked for that an old and deep stain on an area rug also be addressed, which had not been included in the original request, and that was done well for an additional charge of only $10 with better than expected results.

"Jodi sent 3 girls which all knew what they were doing and each one took on a different part of the house. They were very professional and very curious. The work they did was outstanding! for the most part. I have wood floors throughout  and when they finished they looked better than when I did them (and I'm quite fussy about the floors). Like I said, they all knew what they were doing so they were in and out in 2 hours which now leaves me the rest of the day to do things outside. The lady that cleaned the bathrooms didn't do much. Toilets, tub and counters were all clean, however the vanities (which were dusty in both bathrooms from powder) were never cleaned, trash throughout the entire house was never emptied or removed, which I would have thought was part of the job. I guess all in all, I can clean a house better than they did and will not have them return."

Floor Polishers questions, answered by experts

Costs depend on floor type, area size, and additional services like waxing or sealing.

Most experts agree that the best thing with which to clean epoxy floors is a diluted mixture of ammonia and warm water. You can also use mild dish soap diluted with warm water or a degreaser (such as Simple Green or Goof Off) diluted with warm water. Some soap-based cleaners can leave a haze. If you notice this, further dilute the mixture with water or use a different detergent that does not leave a film. You should never use harsh cleaning chemicals, any type of acidic compound (such as vinegar or citrus-based cleansers), or harsh scrubbers like steel wool or hard bristle brushes.

Most DIY floor cleaners don’t require rinsing, but you’ll want to make sure you don’t add too much dish soap or oil to the cleaner to avoid having to rinse it after cleaning. For non-wood floors, mix 8 parts warm water, 1 part vinegar, and 1 part baking soda with a few drops of dish soap. For wood floors, use olive oil in that same mixture instead of the vinegar. You can let these solutions air-dry after cleaning your floors with them, although you should manually dry your floors if they aren’t waterproof.

Professionals use various tools and cleaning solutions based on the type of floor they’re cleaning. They often use industrial steam cleaners to pull debris out of the carpet. For localized stains, they may use a commercial cleaner or a mixture of water, vinegar, and dish soap. For tile, they’ll typically use dish soap and hot water, plus a mixture of baking soda and hot water for the grout. For cleaning wood floors, they might use a low-heat steamer, a mop with an oil wood floor cleaner, or a mixture of hot water, vinegar, and lemon juice.

Regular sealing, proper drainage, and periodic inspections prevent premature wear and cracking.
