"We called Midwest heating and cooling because our furnace was not turning on and heating and the day before when it was on the back of the unit was hot. They came out next day in a timely manner. Very polite and Friendly. Did a diagnostic look at and explained me what was wrong. Along with what he did to fix the issue. Our technician took lots of pictures as to how it looked when he started what his meters were saying with the numbers. Along with what it looked like when done. We got all of that emailed to us and is kept on file if they ever have to come out for something else so the same tech or another tech sees what was done the last time they came out. Our tech Ken explained what all the numbers ment on his picture so we understood things clearly. Told us about a membership program they offer to help out the customer and give them peace mind the next time you need something done. Ken was very knowledgeable and very kind. Would highly recommend."

"My longstanding service company told me my central air system was dead. They'd tried to fix it last year, and gave us a quote for $11,000 for a new system. I began soliciting other quotes and found Mamayek through Angie's list. Bob came to my house and looked at the system. It was only 11 years old and he had been installing the same unit up to last year. He asked one of his people to look at it. (Another great guy named Bob.) He recognized oil on a line, and found a leak pretty quickly. Bottom line -- these guys could have quoted me a $12,000 job and I'd have probably done it. Instead they did the right thing, the honest thing, and fixed/recharged the system for $600+. People need to know about this -- you can't put a price on character."

"The install took longer than expected because they are a small company, and were extra busy with other jobs that week. However, when it was all said and done, I am quite pleased with the results. The AC works great in the summer, and my winter heating bills are almost 50% less than they used to be. Would I do it again? Yes. Would I wait this long to do it? No Way! One of the main reasons Bob's company is special is that he does a good portion of the work himself. It's not contracted out to people you don't know. You meet Bob, and he does the work. Bob was also very accommodating about where to place vents, how to route ducts, etc... He also did a good job at educating me on how the system works along the way. Thanks Bob!"

"They were the only AC company to measure for the correct size air conditioning unit which I would tend to believe the size was correct. My only issue was the price. Now he did say I would be receiving a lesser quality piece of equipment looking at just the price. But the unit I was getting from a competitor was twice the size. Some people say size doesn't matter but I tend to disagree. 14 seer is 14 seer and the fact that it was a 2.5 to me just means it will cool that much faster."

Arguably one of the most thorough annual checkups I have had since being in the home for 7 years and using some other services in the past. While both furnaces are well beyond their expected life, neither tried to "oversell" me and offered objective pros/cons to some repair options vs. replacement.
