"Project went great. We've hired MH for four jobs, ranging from $1,.200 to $36K over the past year, the most recent big job being the addition of a 3-season room, which looks great. "Gordon called the day before work was to begin to let me know the names of the men that would be doing the work.  (I thought that was a nice touch in that I knew who would be at the door the next day and it also validated that his crew was coming and that we were prepared for them.)
The job called for the old damaged ceiling to be removed and a completely new ceiling installed.
During the demolition process, an electrical issue was discovered.  John and Alphonso were able to correct the problem (to code) and the installation proceeded.
The new drywall sofit looks great and gives the recroom a nice finished appearance!
All in all, working with GR General Contracting was a very positive experience!  The work was professionally completed and the staff were great to work with!  I felt the job quote was fair.
We are looking at another project in spring and I look forward to working with Gordon and his crew again.

"I highly recommend Mike and Loft Remodeling. Mike contacted me after I had been told by 2 other companies that it was too late in the year (October) to have new windows created in my family room. I had disappointedly decided to postpone my plan until spring and was so happy that Mike did the job, beautifully, within weeks. Mike created new windows in the family room, previously a very dark space, well in advance of the Holidays. Mike was also very accommodating when I asked about an additional, outdoor job which consisted of moving a fence to allow me to let my dog in and out from the attached garage, another project I had been told would have to wait. Now with the snow and messy weather it is so great to be able to spare my family room floor. The projects were done with minimal disruption to the household, were affordable, and I appreciated that Mike respected Covid precautions in and around my home. I will definitely be calling upon him again as I think of future projects."

 I contracted with Chris to replace my roof.  When it started to leak he came out right away and decided to begin the job the next day.  He got the roof on in one day but with all the rain we had it took 2 weeks to finish the job.  Chris suggested I move the bathroom vent so the solar tube could be in the middle of the ceiling. He did not charge me for moving the vent.  He also had his men take down and remove all the old cabinets in my garage and a old table in my basement, no charge.  When the skylights did not work he had the rep there in a few days to reprogram the units.  They work great now and look beautiful.  Chris is great to work with, always upbeat and ready to listen to you.  Great job!

"A new to us home had severe mold overtake our basement when
the humidity soared while we we on vacation.  We really had a situation.
We looked up Custom Craft on Angie's List.  We called left a message and Rich called right back.
He came out and gave us a analysis and quote within 1 day.  We were reluctant to trust a contractor based on 
a recent bad experience. We decided to proceed with Custom Craft - we really needed to act fast.
My trust was well placed.  They came out and put a mind boggling amout of equipment
in our home to make it safe to live in.  They ripped out everything infected, dry wall, remodeling lumber, insulation, 
which was several days for the crew.  The sorted our personal items and saved many of them.  They
then cleaned and disinfected our basement.
This was an unpleasant project and a lot of work.  
They got it done to make our home safe and protected our home investment.
Rich gave us free follow-up advice.
These guys did a great job for us.
Also - I recommend a good 60-100 pint dehumidifier in your basement.
If your basement was sheet rocked in the 70-80's,
you may want to  explore whats behind the drywall.
Basements require special remodeling practices and
they did not do it right back them.
