It was by far the best contracting company I have ever worked with. The project manager Andy was very knowledgeable, professional and stayed with my project until the fininsh. If I had any questions not only did he answer them but came to the house every step of the way. I can't say enough about this company - they were great

Our experience with Bulldog did not meet expectations. We signed an agreement and gave them our first insurance payment, only to not have any progress made/work done for two months (despite repeated follow ups) until we escalated to their office. Once work finally began, they framed one door incorrectly, corrected it, and then did the second door incorrectly as well. Despite high winds in the forecast, they did not secure the siding materials, causing us to have to chase full sheets of siding through the neighborhood so that it wouldn’t damage our neighbors’ cars. They damaged our fiber internet line, causing us to have to have it replaced by AT&T. They did not measure correctly and did not order enough siding (despite us asking about this on the second day) - They didn’t order more until the following week, and our house was left unfinished for another three weeks.

The job done by Bulldog Builders LLC out of Waukesha WI for my downtown MKE two and a half story Victorian duplex was excellent. Justin their sales guy never tried to upsell or rush me to sign for a project, nor did he change any quotes. Justin was also very clear on what their capabilities were, and what they could or could not do with the job. The work crews were professional and qualified. The full removal of the old roof, new decking and new roof as well as all new seamless gutters was completed inside two weeks as planned. The installation look great!

Matt came right on time. Did his homework and explain what would work on our roof. They did a good job putting on the roof.

We lost a lot of shingles in a windstorm. I contacted Bulldog Builders through Angi. Mike got his crew to come over and put up tarps, which protected our house until we could get the roof replaced. Mike explained everything and answered our questions. He worked with the insurance company for us. The work was done on time. There was a large crew that had good equipment, including a special lift for materials. They did a thorough cleanup. Would definitely recommend.

Bulldog Builders tore off our old roof and replaced it in 2 days. We have a large house so I was truly impressed by their efficiency and professionalism. From the salesman, the project manager, to the roofing crew who worked until 6 and 7 at night on a Friday and Saturday to complete the work. They protected our landscaping and cleaned up afterwards to an extent we would not have believed possible. We would highly recommend Bulldog Builders!!

A great experience in every aspect with Bulldog. From the consultation and estimate, all the way through clean up and final inspection. We had a unique situation where a dormer was installed by a different company decades ago that we found out wasn't vented properly. Bulldog came out several times and drew up an affordable plan to properly vent the original attic as well as the dormer. They also came out several times after the job was done to talk over and update areas where we needed some adjustments made. Very knowledgeable, professional, and responsive. I would highly recommend Bulldog for any home improvement needs.

From meeting with Carl and discussing the job and our product options and selecting color and shingle this was above and beyond my expectations. The whole process was hassle free. Signed contract on Thursday, dumpster delivered on Monday and the roofing crew was here at daybreak on Tuesday. Complete tear off and new roof installed all in one day. The roofing team was professional and polite. They made sure our bushes along foundation were covered with tarps, the guys even took extra time and moved outside items that might get broken during tear off process. The crew cleaned up after job very nicely. I would recommend Bulldog Builders to anyone looking to have roofing done. Even the neighbors were impressed on how quickly and efficiently they got this job finished. New roof looks amazing, very happy we chose this company to do the job.

Other than a scheduling miss, everything went very well. Mark came out, gave us an estimate, and while his crew had to reschedule the following week, they came out, did great work, and wrapped it up in one day. Very happy with the results, and it corrected the leak.

At first it started out well. The owner collaborated with us nicely and it seemed like it might be a good fit. We originally had them quote us on a full basement remodel. The price quoted was extremely high compared to other contractors. We then decided to have them do a smaller project to "test the waters" in a manner of speaking. We hired them to complete a fireplace remodel for us. It was a mess from the start. The workers never once showed up when they said they would. Leaving me to have to send multiple texts to figure out where they were. When I tried to express my concerns about this I was met with hostility and defensiveness. As a business owner myself I pride myself on customer satisfaction as I think all companies should. Come to find out our little fireplace project was considered to be "too small" for them and therefore not as important as bigger projects. The workmanship on the fireplace itself was fairly decent, however the project was never "cleaned up". Installing new stone requires new mortar and cutting which creates a lot of dust and makes the stone very dirty. This was left for us to deal with on our own. I was told that they lead contractor was coming the next day to clean it... but he never showed. This experience resulted in them being taken out of the running for our large basement remodel. I am not one who likes to complain, or "bad mouth" anyone, but when searching for a contractor to put your trust in on large remodels, I feel it is important to be honest about experiences. As customers, ratings and reviews are all we have to go on to make these very large and expensive decisions.

They did such an outstanding on our porch rebuild that we've have been referring them to everyone we know. Everything from quality of work and materials to professionalism and timeliness was excellent! They tore out the totally cracked floor then basically rebuilt the porch with 5x5 Pella windows, new wood, electrical, etc. We're practically living out there - it's so beautiful.

We couldn't be happier with the work performed by Bulldog Builders. The end product exceeded our expectations, as the addition was in keeping with our 19 year old home and looked like it was there from the time we built. Everyone we dealt with (from the owner down to the contractors) were all very professional and capable. The few minor issues that popped up were handled immediately and without issue. Communication was excellent throughout the entire process. The only negative was that the project took a bit longer to complete than discussed. However, this was due unfavorable weather and the fact that they are very busy. Regardless, they always kept in contact and kept us up to date as to the next phase of the project. They have a tremendous amount of pride in the work they do and are very customer focused. We would not hesitate to use them again and would highly recommend them to any of our friends for any remodeling projects.

Several large sections of shingles blew off of our roof during a high wind event. We found Bulldog Builders through Angies List. They were offering a repair and inspection special. After inspecting our roof, Gary recommended filing a claim with our insurance because the damage was extensive. Gary worked with the adjustor and was instrumental in getting our claim approved. We then hired Bulldog Builders to replace the entire roof with Owens Corning Tru-Def shingles. Our new roof is beautiful. Eight months prior we had our entire house, trim, and gutters painted so Gary was meticulous about touching up any small scrapes or marks that his crew made during tear-off. We are extremely pleased with the results.
