"This is my second service call and my second review of ECONO Sewer and Drain. As with the first time their response to my problem was surprisingly fast. This time Adam showed up with a big friendly attitude and ready to go to work. I will skip all the intermediate details and say the Company should be proud to have this employee to represent them. My problem took a bit over an hour to resolve but in the end Adam with sweat dripping from his brow and a fair amount of heavy breathing succeeded with the task at hand. ECONO remains on my speed dial!"

"Steve did a fantastic job. He was very polite and easy to talk to when I called to schedule the work. He was very professional while at my house. He was happy to answer my questions and show me what he was doing. He was polite with my wife and son. He arrived about 30 minutes late, but he called ahead and that was perfectly fine with me. It took him about 4.5 hours to do the work, including travel time and a trip to pick up the needed shut off valves and get the key to open the city's shut off valve for the main water line. He makes sure the job is done right. I noticed him cleaning and lubricating valves, and even the cover for the city's shut off valve, to insure proper operation of all parts. When installing shut off valves under the kitchen sink, he could have just removed the old compression fittings and reused the old pipes as I had done when doing this on my own on my bathroom sink. But he didn't want to take a chance on causing a leak down the road, so he removed the old pipes, and sweated new ones in their place, which provided a clean new pipe for installing the valves. He cleaned up after himself and left the work areas neat and tidy. Bottom line, you can trust Steve to do a good job at a fair price. I'd hire him again."

"This review is well over due. Now that we have the drain tile system we have not received any flooding The day he began Brian's team came to our house promptly in the morning at 8am. They immediately started jack hammering the floor around the perimeter of the basement. While two men jack hammered on opposite ends the rest of the team followed behind them clearing debris and bringing the large pieces to a truck to be hauled away. They then installed the drain pipe, sump pumps, and poured cement. They were able to compete the project within 8 hours. I was definitely impressed! Now that it is a year later with 3 seasons behind us we cannot complain about his installation of the drainage system. Furthermore, one year later he still provided us with exceptional customer service. Oddly enough our pipes connected to our sump pump that takes the water from the drain tile to the backyard became detached. He responded asap with putting the detached pipes from the sump pump back together and making sure what happened will not happen again. What I liked about him in comparison to the other companies was his approach. No sales techniques, nothing gimmicky just genuine and straight shooter type of guy. He believes in his service, no thrills and whistles to the product. Just common sense solutions with quality service. It's your house your investment. Call this guy, no "BS" to it. He won't let you down.

"We had an excellent experience with Windy City Rooter. Max (the owner) and his son came to my house to diagnose the problem and give a free estimate. Unlike with other "big name" companies, I felt comfortable with their diagnosis. Windy City Rooter sends actual licensed plumbers to your house and not uneducated salesmen guessing what the problem is and trying to sell you expensive sump pumps or experimental fixes. Although the diagnosis was not good (we had a blocked overhead sewer with a leak in our basement), Max was huge help in making the ordeal as painless as possible. He explained the entire process of replacing our sewer, including city construction codes, digging, replacing pipe, sealing walls, and clean up. Windy City Rooter does all their own work, they don't contract out anyone else (one of Max's sons is in charge of the excavating). Therefore they know everything that is going to get done, how much it will cost, and how long it will take. They dug up the sewer, replaced it, sealed our walls, and cleaned up all in one day as I was at work. Max was phone call or text away, keeping me updated on the entire process. In addition he also helped by talking directly to our insurance adjuster to ensure we could get some money for the damages.
