"Steve and one of his guys, Jordan, came out on New Year's Eve day and installed our new hearth and mantle for our fireplace. They did a beautiful job! They also fixed some kitchen cabinets and checked our gutters. They were professional, and fun, and they did a great job! They even cleaned up after themselves! We will definitely call Steve again for our general contractor/handyman needs."

Small jobs welcome

"They communicate really well. The put everything in writing. They provide 3D model drawings, with actual dimensions to show exactly what it will look like before it goes in. The provide pricing options with a clear interacting of the cabinets finishes, because Iâ d the samples that they provide. Best of all they do 100% of the work, they sell, build and install. They will be dining our kitchen."

"It was surprisingly more difficult than we had thought to find someone who could do all parts of our remodel (tiling, cabinets, counter tops, drywall, light electrical, tub/sink install, painting) but luckily we found Remodeling Experts and they did an incredible job on everything. Nothing was done sub-par and in many cases they went above and beyond what was in my quote. Beautiful tile work, high quality cabinets and counter tops, and it was all done in LESS THAN A WEEK. Plus because I like shopping and saving money where I can, they were totally fine with me purchasing the tub, toilet, tile, and faucet on my own and taking them out of the quote. One of the contractors we got a quote from refused to even let me get the tile because 'he makes part of his profit from buying them himself.' Wha??
Remodeling Experts is probably the 15th contractor we've hired off Angie's List (such is the life with a Seattle "fixer upper") and they are easily in the top 3 of the best we've had and I am looking forward to working with them when we're ready to do our kitchen and main bathroom. They did a spectacular job, and I've already suggested them to co-workers and family members."

"Extremely well. Project manager made coordination of all workers seamless. Project was on time and on budget (the company's motto). The tiler did an exceptional job laying and grouting three different types and sizes of tile. The plumbing supplier they recommended was outstanding - listened carefully to our initial thoughts about what we might want then providing support for fine tuning and ordering all of our necessary shower, faucet, shower heads, and toilet, answering all our questions quickly and thoroughly. The cabinet is of fine quality both in design and materials."

Cabinet Making questions, answered by experts

Typically, a medicine cabinet should be installed about 60 to 72 inches above the floor. This height ensures that it's easily accessible for most individuals while allowing for proper visibility and convenience. However, the ideal height may vary based on individual preferences and the average eye level of the users in your household.

Solid wood is the most common material for cabinet bases. It’s a popular choice because it’s durable and will hold up over time. Oak, maple, cherry, hickory, and pine are all types of solid wood that can be used to build cabinet bases. Other options include plywood, medium-density fiberboard, and other types of manufactured lumber, but they need to be sealed properly to avoid swelling, separating, and delamination from moisture.

For safety when installing a vanity, attaching the vanity to the wall is ideal to prevent it from moving. Typically, sinks must be 4 inches away from bathtubs. Also, most states require that you have 21 inches in front of a sink, but the National Kitchen and Bath Association (NKBA) recommends 30 inches for more comfort.

While having an assistant to help ensure safety and to lend a hand is desirable, if someone isn't around to assist, you can install kitchen cabinets on your own. Normal kitchen cabinet installation starts with the upper wall cabinets. If you're working on your own, consider installing the bases first and building a temporary support structure on top of them to help you install the uppers.

Yes, most installations include warranties for materials and labor. Confirm details with your contractor.
