"Jason and his crew had a competitive bid, was able to schedule my job in 3-4 weeks, said it would take two days and finished it in two days.  Ceilings were in good shape underneath and the crew did their best to limit any damage to the drywall.  Ceiling is ready for some light repair and texture.  They cleaned up after themselves and were professional and courteous.   They are a busy company, so make sure to follow up with a phone call if you submit a request for bid or schedule an appointment.

As a recent first time homebuyer not noing how home owners insurance worked I attempted to begin the drying out process on my own renting some carpet fans and removing some of the carpet and padding. The response was quick and the owner himself came out, I had thought that my efforts would have been sufficent to dry things out, until Rafeal the owner showed me the water still in the walls using a thermal camera, Being a father of two young children the last thing i wanted was a unhealthy enviroment for my children with the potential of mold growth in the walls. Rafeal told me not to worry and quit stressing my self out trying to do everything myself and juggle my job and family at the same time. He reminded me that these instances are why home owners have insurance. So a PROFESSIONAL took over and quickly went to work with a very knowlegable and friendly crew. If aanother disaster happens again believe me the first thing I would do is call a professional and that would be SAN DIEGO WATER DAMAGE"

"They were a very fast and professional company providing a high quality of work. Leveled floors, hung drywall, painted, installed flooring, and thresholds etc. Restored our home faster than we anticipated. Great communication also!"

Christopher is a stand-up person, and he and his best man (Steven) were very easy to work with. They repaired some damaged drywall and painted several rooms for me. They also repaired a number of things around the house (installed hinges, repaired small hardwood patch, replaced a pet door, etc...).

On all of their handyman work, they were great. I would've given them an "A" if it wasn't for the paint quality. Generally speaking, I found that they often needed a couple tries before getting the right colors when painting (which also translated into more time and higher cost). In an extreme case, we tried to patch a door, but even after multiple tries, the color doesn't match the other doors I have. To Christopher/Steven's credit, they really tried hard and did what they could to produce a satisfactory result. It just didn't turn out that way. For the amount of money I paid, I thought I should've gotten a better quality. All that being said, Christopher was very customer-focusedand I'd still use him for handyman work in the future (just not for paint).

"Well, the first time the replacement was ordered it was the wrong one, which of course, delayed the installation a week. When it was finally installed I had to pay an additional $850 for code upgrades. This I was not informed of by Home Shield. Then we noticed that there was water on the garage floor and found that the pipe coming in from the wall was leaking at the wall so had to call the plumbing company back out to fix it. They first tried to say it was not their fault but since there wasn't a leak before they installed they did fix it. I have used Home Shield a few times before and never had a problem. Some of the companies they use are not the best so you have to research them before you commit. I have found HS service to be good if you do your homework. At the end of the day I was without hot water for almost 3 weeks but it was do to the plumbing company they sent out."
