From our first meeting I knew I had no worries regarding my pavement experience. Andy was very professional and knowledgeable of his job and what I wanted. The crew was expected at 8:00 am and at that time they were hard at work. I was so impressed with the entire crew, they were all very friendly and hard workers. Our neighbors were so inspired they had their driveway paved also. I realize that my pavement job may have seemed like a minor job, Andy and his crew worked as if they were on a million dollar project. We are very pleased and if we ever have pavement needs or if any of our friends need asphalt we will definitely call or suggest Washington State Paving. The crew was very appreciative of hamburgers for lunch too

Alex and crew did a great job in getting moss off my roof and cleaning sidewalks, deck, and the driveway. He is very knowledgeable about the appropriate products to use to clean things and get rid of moss. Everything looked very clean and fresh when he left. I'd definitely hire him again!

Our asphalt approx. 500 sf driveway really needed help! It was cracked & sunken at both ends. It was far beyond it's useful lifespan. Roger came out to take a look at it. He had good suggestions & his bid was fair. His crew was skilled, efficient and kept the area clean. Neighbors have been impressed with how the crew handled traffic and with finished appearance. Excellent job. The owner, Mr. Cary is a wonderful man and the salesperson, so you get - 1.clear understanding of work 2. Exact timeframe on their availability to start the work. 3. Work gurantee etc. 4. guidance on pattern / colors 5. very reasonable rates. The crew is amazing, they work dawn to dusk, no intermittent wait time. Any issues caused by work is promptly addressed and no interference required. Our old broken and sunken trip hazard concrete driveway is finally gone and replaced by paver stones which is both functional and beautiful without making a huge whole in the pocket! I was first introduced to CD Pavers at a neighbor’s house. The attention to detail as impressive so we hired them. Cary appeared almost every day to check on his 5-man crew and touch base with me and my wife to answer concerns. He had an obvious warm and personal working relationship with his crews that payed dividend in the work. We found crew members professional, personable and some very humorous…they were a cheerful bunch that went go out of their way to move several very large rocks outside the scope of the contract. We anticipated quality workmanship, as we had seen in our neighbor’s project, but was still blown away with how all aspects of the job turned out. It exceeded our expectations. We had extensive curved lines in the driveway and walkways. You have to see it to appreciate hundreds of pavers each precisely cut to form a curve or a bevel. I have hesitated to write this review for some eight months knowing that the excitement of a job just completed may fad or problems might arise. On two occasions many weeks after the job was completed, we had water drainage problems that could not have been anticipated beforehand. On both occasions a work crew came within a day to fix these issues at no additional expense. We are still blown away after eight months with the looks and functioning of our project. This past summer I had a new patio installed. Since my professional background is in the design/construction industry with a degree in landscape architecture I drafted up design drawings and specifications for my project. Doing so would help ensure all companies were bidding apples to apples. I then did a lot of research on paving companies then solicited 7 bids from small and large companies, some who advertise in the newspaper. We met on site so I could get their input on my plans, including product specifications (paver brands, etc.). CD Paver Management’s bid was the low bidder. Not surprisingly the bids (including tax) ranged from a high of $39,082 to $21,493 ($17,589 difference). Typically, when bids are high companies have high overhead or did not understand the scope of work or were not really interested in doing the job. Additionally, when companies submit a low bid and are awarded the contract, they will submit additive change orders to try and make up for their low bid. Since you, the home owner, are already under contract and the work is underway you are usually at a disadvantage. After receiving the bids, I interviewed three of the companies to ensure their bids were based on my drawings and specifications and to hear their plan of attack. One of the companies told me they couldn’t reduce the existing stair risers from 7 ¼” to 6” as I specified. They also told me they could not replace the existing handrail and that I would have to have that done by someone else. When I met with Cary Stephenson of CD Paver Management, he assured me he could do all of that without any problems. During our multiple meetings Cary was a pleasure to work with. He answered all of my (many) questions and was very responsive to my texts. As with all construction projects there were some contentious issues that had to be resolved. Because of my detailed and thorough nature, we haggled about some items and the final price. Happy to say we worked it out amicably to a fair and reasonable solution. Cary’s crew was also a pleasure to work with. They are a hard-working group of guys. Their workmanship was really good. Having personally done some paving projects and being retired, I was on site every day and inspected their work. Whatever issues I brought up they resolved without question. They were meticulous in their work and were more than agreeable to do some minor additional work without nickel and diming me. There were no change orders except for some added scope that I requested. I was very pleased with the finished project and would highly recommend them to anybody. As an added bonus Cary’s crew was fun to work with. Roger # 1 (foreman) and Roger # 2 were really hard working and friendly. All of the other crew members were also hard working and great to work with. Carlos - aka “El Frojo” (-: was also a blast to work with. The project was done during the heat wave in August so as an appreciation for their hard work I gave them plenty of cold drinks and fruits every day. I was so pleased with their work I took the entire crew out to lunch. So, if you’re considering having some paving work done, I highly recommend CD Paver Management. You won’t be disappointed

"The young man did a thorough job, was careful and considerate, and cleaned up pretty well afterwards. He was here for most of the day with only a short break for lunch. I deliberately hired this company, knowing they were a little more expensive, and knowing that their high-volume/low-water-pressure solution would be more thorough than some of the 'rake it off' bids I got. So far, I'm impressed - I'll definitely hire them again and hopefully they'll be around for regular maintenance.
