He even prioritized the list for me so I could plan and budget these items for the near future. Although he quoted me a price for a new toilet, my husband later pointed out to me that the supply line would have to be moved and the plumber did not include this in the quote. And there were other items that my husband pointed out that were not presented in the final report. Lesson learned: make sure husband is the one to work with service providers in the future! He recommended that both toilets be reset, with new wax seals. One sink and the bathtub needed their drains cabled. The expansion tank on our fairly new water heater needed replacement. One bathroom sink and faucet needed to be tightened down. He did a good job of explaining what was needed and which things had relative urgency. I felt it was a sensible, thoughtful summary, not at all a hard sell, and I asked him to give me an estimate on all his suggestions. He did so in a few minutes, I approved the work, and he did it all on the spot. Except for the minor cavil that he did not put everything back just as it had been (rugs, cabinet contents, etc) I was well impressed: impressed enough to pay for an energy audit appointment from the same company. I'll be reviewing that once it occurs

We began with an energy audit to address a number of heating and cooling inefficiencies throughout our home. Edwin, home energy auditor, was outstanding. He is very knowledgeable about house construction, very personable and did an excellent job of working with us and with the WES team throughout the project to make sure we were pleased with the work and the results. At the end of the project, another energy audit was performed to confirm that air leaks were substantially reduced. The Home Performance Report was very detailed and informational. The scheduling process was also very good with timely arrival and follow up by all involved
- Washington Energy ServicesWent great! Cory came out, was very punctual (even called beforehand to say he was on his way). Went over everything that he'd be doing. Went in crawl space and attic, ran blower test and showed us with thermal heat gun just how hot our attic was and where we had leaks, allowing hot and cold air into the house. There was only about 3 inches of original insulation in attic from when house was built in 1967. Because we have family coming from out of town, our follow up appointment isn't until the 18th, at which time Steve will go over full report, and we will discuss adding new insulation which will take us from the current R9 to and R49. And we will discuss a solar attic fan at that time as well

"We hired SFW to repair our new home that had undisclosed water damage at the time of purchase. TJ was the supervisor assigned to our project and his work was exceptional. "Seattle Asbestos did a great job! It only took them about 3 hours to remove the popcorn ceilings (710 sq. ft), once the house was sealed. One day to seal the house, and 3 hours to remove the asbestos. The plaster ceilings look really good! They were less expensive than some of the other companies - $4.00 a sq. ft. Hard to reach them at times by email. Don't give up - calling works better.
