"Spencer construction repaired the damaged brickwork on my house after a stolen car ran into the house at high speed. The damages occurred around a brick surround for a support pillar and also effected brickwork between two garage doors. Kevin paid attention to ensure that the replacement bricks matched the damaged ones. He also was able to cut appart undamaged bricks so that they could be reused and make the repair look as if the incident had never happenned. He protected the mortar from rain while it was drying. As an experienced 3rd generation mason, he did everything right. He was the best of 6 masons I interviewed. I would not hestitate to recommend him to others. If you're looking for an experienced and creative mason who is attentive to detail he's the best!"

"We bought a house built in 1930; it is partially brick-clad and has two brick chimneys. Our remodel contractor referred us to a mason who, because of other commitments, could only do one aspect of our job, and on completion, referred us to Powers. If your masonry needs sealing, it is only done after the correct amount of drying time is achieved -- careful scheduling and rescheduling is arranged around the weather and curing of mortar. If you want to re-use bricks, they are chosen deliberately for quality, size, type, and appearance, and they are integrated and set appropriately. Our job involved several independent aspects: chimney inspections, removing and bricking in of a window, sealing, rowlock and wall tuck-pointing, then, new construction with recycled bricks that needed to be matched to existing brickwork. There were multiple visits over a period of time, but continuity was assured through Ekraam, who continued as the lead on all the work done for our job. Another A+. Absolutely everything about this company speaks to ensuring excellent work at a competitive cost.
