"Raul called me right back, came out when he said he would with a quote and was back the next morning to prune my tree. Pruned my tree the way it should be done, cleaned up after and did an excellent job. It is well worth the money to have a company that does what they say and arrive when they say they will. No waiting around for this company to show up. On time and love the customer service. I highly recommend them."

"Joe’s Yard Service was professional, hard-working and did a great job. They removed trees, juniper bushes, ground stumps, and pruned trees and arborvitae. They went above and beyond and ground stumps that were not in the original bid. They did a good job cleaning up. I would highly recommend them!"

"Great team, exceeded expectations. Mike the owner provided clear timeline. They removed 4 trees 120ft+. Did not damage my wifes garden near the base of the trees. Removed the stump for a minimal extra charge. His staff were hard working young men very professional."

Small jobs welcome

"Clark was careful and precise during the tree removal. He was on our property line taking down a rotting tree and was thoughtful of the surrounding personal property. He cleaned up after the service as well. Overall, he did fantastic."

Tree Service questions, answered by experts

In most cases, your neighbor is responsible for roots from their tree that cause damage to your property. If your pavement, the foundation of your home, or a fence is damaged by roots from a neighbor’s tree, you likely will have legal recourse for financial relief. While it’s better to notify your neighbor of any problems you notice as soon as they arise to avoid costly damage, there are some instances where filing a civil suit is your only recourse. Your homeowner’s insurance company might wish to do so on your behalf if you file a claim.

A dead tree should always be cut down, because it could fall and cause injuries or damage, and it can also attract insects like carpenter ants. A tree that’s diseased beyond repair should also be cut down, but it’s not always easy for a homeowner to tell. Signs of disease include dying branches, a hollow trunk, leaning, and discolored or missing leaves, but your best bet is to hire a local arborist who can evaluate the tree and tell you if it can be saved or should be cut down.

Some fast-acting products can rot a tree stump in four to six weeks. Keep in mind, these products contain harsh chemicals that may prevent regrowth in the area. Other products, like fertilizer that contains lots of nitrogen, can enhance the process and rot a stump in about a year. (This is compared to the ten years it can take naturally for a stump to rot.)

Most jobs take 2-8 hours, but extensive trimming may take multiple days.

Homeowners are usually not responsible for trees that fall on power lines. Power companies usually have utility easements around power lines, which give them the responsibility to maintain any trees within about 15 to 20 feet of the lines.
