"Raul called me right back, came out when he said he would with a quote and was back the next morning to prune my tree. Pruned my tree the way it should be done, cleaned up after and did an excellent job. It is well worth the money to have a company that does what they say and arrive when they say they will. No waiting around for this company to show up. On time and love the customer service. I highly recommend them."

"Joe’s Yard Service was professional, hard-working and did a great job. They removed trees, juniper bushes, ground stumps, and pruned trees and arborvitae. They went above and beyond and ground stumps that were not in the original bid. They did a good job cleaning up. I would highly recommend them!"

"Great team, exceeded expectations. Mike the owner provided clear timeline. They removed 4 trees 120ft+. Did not damage my wifes garden near the base of the trees. Removed the stump for a minimal extra charge. His staff were hard working young men very professional."

Small jobs welcome

"Clark was careful and precise during the tree removal. He was on our property line taking down a rotting tree and was thoughtful of the surrounding personal property. He cleaned up after the service as well. Overall, he did fantastic."

Tree Service questions, answered by experts

If you ever want to see the literal fruits of your labor, you’ll need to prune your peach trees. Without pruning, the trees may not grow or bear fruit since the nutrients will be divided among too many offshoots to provide any with enough energy to produce the peaches. Plus, if parts of the peach tree become diseased or pest-ridden, pruning can nip those problems in the bud.

Peach trees don’t tend to live as long as other types of trees and crops. They tend to last only about 12 years, and you shouldn’t expect to see a full peach harvest each of those years, either. Young peach trees need a few years to get established before they produce fruit, but you should have plenty of peaches for your pies and cobblers during their mature years, around years four through eight.

It is possible to cut down a tree on your property yourself, but it is generally not recommended unless specific conditions are met. You should only consider this project if the tree is small (e.g., under 4-5 inches in diameter and short enough that you don't need a ladder to reach the branches), and you are experienced in handling a chainsaw. The tree must also be located far from any power lines, fences, homes, or other structures. Even for small trees, the work can be dangerous, and it's always advisable to have a spotter to ensure the tree falls correctly and no branches fall on you.

For any tree that is large, requires a ladder to access, or is near electrical lines or structures, you should always hire a professional. Attempting to remove a large tree yourself is extremely dangerous, poses a risk of serious injury, and could result in significant damage to your property.

Before any tree removal, it's also important to check your local and state regulations to ensure the tree is not historic or otherwise protected by your city.

Tree roots are hearty and complex systems, so they don’t die immediately after the rest of the tree is removed. If you leave the root system in place, it takes anywhere from two to seven years for it to run out of nutrients. It is worth noting, however, that the roots stop growing and expanding after cutting down the rest of the tree.

Although it’s possible, heavy machinery like a crane is necessary for removing an entire tree stump and all. This procedure is extremely costly, time-consuming, and usually unnecessary, as there are plenty of convenient and affordable stump removal options.

Your best bet, if you want to be sure to remove a tree and its stump efficiently, is to speak with a professional. They’ll be able to walk you through the entire process.
