"We have an old (45+ yrs) apple tree that was horribly overgrown and tangled. My husband did what he could, but he couldn't reach the dead limbs. They came out right away, gave us an estimate and a date they could start. They are very professional, personable, knowledgeable, fair priced and did a wonderful job on cleanup. Best of all, they LISTENED to what we wanted to do, and agreed to do it. I will definitely keep them in mind if we need any other services from them. It's a great company to work with, and reasonably priced."

"I am impressed by the professionalism of the workers who took care of a nasty job with a maple tree stump growing thru a chain link fence. The 2 worked quickly and efficiently. Love the "grindings" in the garden."

Tree Service questions, answered by experts

Peach trees grow to be about 25 feet, so keep this in mind for pruning as well. If you plan to DIY, you’ll need to be comfortable working on a ladder. Without pruning, peach tree branches can sprawl nearly as wide as the tree grows tall, so make sure to plan pruning sessions at least once per year in the spring for controlled growth. And if you’re working on a ladder, be sure to follow all safety precautions, especially if you’ll be dealing with falling branches.

Not every arborist climbs trees, but most will do so if that’s the best method for assessing or treating a tree. Arborists have a variety of tree climbing gear and safety equipment to choose from when climbing trees. Consult your local arborist about their tree-climbing plan if your service requires that type of task.

Palm trees aren’t much different than your typical tree removal. Removing a palm tree is a standard procedure as long as pros have the proper tools and supplies. For DIYers, however, there are some risks associated with palm tree removal. Palm trees have spiky fronds, bark, and patches of hefty wood. So, it’s best to let an experienced tree service pro remove a palm tree.

Depending on the severity of the damage, a tree might continue healing for years after a split or a break. Saplings can usually bounce back in the spring in one or two seasons, but larger trees might take a few years to regain their former strength. If your tree is showing strong growth and is not dropping limbs, you can consider it healed after the first two seasons.

Ivy eventually kills trees by restricting its growth, blocking sunlight, absorbing nutrients and water from the soil, and weakening the tree. Trees with ivy are more likely to experience diseases, pests, rot, and fungi growth. When ivy weighs down tree branches, the tree is more likely to break during a storm and cause damage.
